“The room was just what we wanted, with two twin beds. The wi-fi worked easily, and the bathroom was very up-scale. The lounge felt welcoming, which expanded the size of our living space. We loved the breakfast, which was both professionally put together and personalized. We felt welcomed by the hosts, who gave us excellent directions and suggestions. A very pleasant stay!”

Also, there are good restaurants within a 15 to 20 minute walk. There is a decent full kitchen, although there appeared to be no way to make ice. Be aware that there are no en suite bathrooms, but the bathroom was always available to us, since the property was only about half full. “We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!”
