“We had a very enjoyable time. The hosts were excellent and responded to our requests quickly in text. We kicked off a fire in the pit,quiet, and place was very clean. The reason for the 4 stars is it is definitely an older property (1950s) and the beds were super firm. We plan to go again but try the individual canins. we found the beds super firm. “Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. ”

“This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Bar Harbor/Acadia area. The location is very convenient, making it just a short drive to just about everything the area has to offer. The apartment is even nicer in person than the pictures! It was spotlessly clean with nice linens/towels and all the kitchen basics. They also provided things like hand and dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels and toilet paper that not all rentals have. We appreciated having enough counter and cabinet space...

“The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped...
