Stay in our cozy camper five minutes from the Schoodic area of Acadia National Park where you can drive the Schoodic Loop Road with spectacular views of the rugged coastline and islands. Hike or bike the trails, enjoy wildlife watching or fishing as well.

At the southern tip of Schoodic Peninsula is Schoodic Point, quite possibly the prettiest spot in all of Acadia National Park. And since it's located in the Schoodic portion of one of the most visited national parks in the US, it only sees about 10% of the tourist traffic the main area of the park on Mt. Desert Island sees.

The trailer was well equipped, had lots of hot water and the heater worked great. Stephanie was very nice and helpful. If you’re exploring the Schoodic Peninsula, which is beautiful, this is a great spot!

This property was perfect for my husband and me. It's close proximity to Schoodic Peninsula and the scenic drive was fabulous! The area was quiet and peaceful.

Overall our stay was average. The rental is in a great location and it was nice to only be an hour from the National Park. Check in and out was very easy and the host responded quickly to any inquiries. I also appreciated the additional fixings for the coffee like half and half and sugar. It was a nice touch to our stay. And the bedding and blankets were perfect to keep us warm during the cooler nights. It is a cozy place for two to share and the shuffling of luggage can be complicated at times. The binder mentions unpacking and then storing your luggage, but there is really no place to put unpacked items. This is also not a place best suited for those who are tall and I am a little disappointed this wasn't stated in the description. We struggled with both the shower/bathroom and sleeping comfortably on the bed. My mom is 6 feet tall. I'm also not sure how thoroughly the camper was cleaned before we checked in. We found a moldy and used coffee filter and grounds in the coffee pot. Nothing we couldn't clean...but not a great start to our morning. Overall the camper supplied us with exactly what we needed, a close location to Acadia to call our home base while we were exploring. I'm grateful to have found this booking and to have been able to stay.

Quiet little getaway

This is a Hummingbird RV very well furnished on the property of owner. Everything was very clean and well organized. It had everything I was looking for in a quiet place to stay in the vicinity of Acadia and MDI. The Schoodic Peninsula is lovely and uncrowded and the perfect place to be without the crowds of Bar Harbir. Stephanie was the perfect host- answered all my questions, suggested places to eat and see and even left treats.

Just perfect

My son and I were looking for a unique and fun place to stay. It was magical, the property had a Forrest adjacent that looked like it came out if a fairy tale. The township surrounding was down to earth with unique options. We loved exploring the Schoodic Peninsula, then taking a drive to Bar Harbor and Sand Beach. Both great areas to hike, bike and explore! The host was incredibly responsive, sweet, and helpful. She recommended great attractions, places to eat and explore. The hummingbird was our refuge for our stay, to slow down and get the rest we need to conquer our adventures.

Cute and Cozy

The camper was so cute and cozy! Stephanie was also an excellent host. She was super helpful and responsive before and throughout our whole stay. If I could give the communication more than 5 stars, I definitely would! All in all, my friend and I had a great stay here in Maine and would definitely come back again!

Quiet getaway

This camper was in a very quiet location and had stargazing opportunities. Make sure you like who you're staying with, because it is tight in there, but very clean and everything worked well and it was exactly as advertised.

Stayed 2 nites and 1 day. Very quiet, peaceful and convenient. Very nice and patient hostess with a wealth of information to make stay easier and enjoyable. Quick to communicate when needed. Very pleased with the option.

Wonderful getaway

The Hummingbird is a perfect little spot in the woods. It’s a good place to sit outside by the fire in the evenings, and close enough to all the beauty of Acadia National Park to be able to ride , walk, or play all day.

Great Stay!

My gf and I stood here while we were visiting Acadia and our accommodations couldn't have been better! Stephanie's great, she provided all we needed to ensure we were comfortable during our time here, including a detailed guide of local attractions and places to visit. She was also extremely quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. The Hummingbird itself is a bit small inside, but otherwise fit our needs perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Acadia!

Nothing short of amazing

This location is perfect and a beautiful piece of property! The privacy is nice but also nice to have the option the just walk over if anything is needed. Verly highly recommended and we will definitely be back again!!!! P.S. the veggies were amazing!!!!!

Great Spot for Exploring Acadia

The camper is small, but more than enough for one or two people. Both areas of Acadia are less than an hours drive and there are some great seafood stands nearby. The location is peaceful and offers a nice parking area. I was the first renter of the season and the camper was a little dirty but nothing that would stop me from recommending this to others!
