“The decision to stay at Magpie Inn for our getaway was the absolute best decision we could have made. Everything, and I do mean everything, was the confirmation of our dream to have a restful time together. The location was close to downtown Mineral Wells. “While I understand this was a cheap motel, there were a few things I couldn’t get past. The exterior was horrible with tripping hazards that look to have been there for some time. The “residents”. The room looked like they had updated it but left unfinished. Missing trim. Dirty caulking. Patches on the walls. Door not closing all the way (but secure) and the bugs.”

“I have stayed at Blanche’s Loft several times and it is well organized, clean and with a nice shower. Highly recommend. ”

“The property was clean and well stocked. It is cozy. We were out and about most of the time we were there and we ate out. It is only 3 min from the main downtown drag which was convenient for us. Our event was at the Crazy Water hotel. The only thing we did not like was the unit had a mini split for ac. The main unit was blowing cold air at our heads while sleeping. We ended up sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed and it helped a lot.”
