Die Unterkunft war genau wie erwartet. Das Zimmer für die Übernachtung war moderniesiert und sauber. Der Speisessaal fürs Frühstück war übersichtlich und ausreichend. Wenig Gäste angetroffen und man konnte beim Frühstücken auf die Zugspitze hochschauen. :)

Das Zimmer war schön und modern eingerichtet, das Bad renoviert. Alles war sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt’s viele Parkmöglichkeiten. Ein Minuspunkt war allerdings die Temperatur, die leider viel zu hoch eingestellt war und man im Zimmer nicht abändern konnte. Das Zimmer war also viel zu warm und mit offener Balkontür im Winter zu schlafen war für uns auch nicht so die perfekte Lösung. Auf Bitte die Temperatur zu senken ist leider nichts passiert.

Zimmer groß mit Gemeinschaftsbalkon. Badezimmer neu, jedoch einigen Fehlern in der Umsetzung: Wasserhahn gibt bei kaltem Wasser nur warmes Wasser und andersherum, Türe kann aufgrund von Handtuchhalter nicht ganz geöffnet werden. Sehr hellhörig, wenn es in einem Zimmer nebenan oder darüber lauter wird dann ist schlafen nur schwer möglich. Personal am Empfang war nicht sehr freundlich und dazu noch unpünktlich, gerade beim checkout sollten die angegebenen Zeiten eingehalten werden

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bad war wunderschön. Das Hotel ist für den Preis sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Im Zimmer der Kinder klebte ein an die Wand geworfenes Taschentuch. Der schimmelige Duschvorhand wurde zwar getauscht, allerdings war der neue Duschvorhang mindestens 20 cm zu kurz und das gesamte Bad wurde überschwemmt. In dem anderen Zimmer waren überall Ränder in den Wänden was auf "Wasserschäden" vermuten lässt. Die Tür des Bades kam uns bei Einzug entgegengefallen, wurde auch behoben. Im Bad fehlte der Rahmen des Lichtschalters und ab dem 28.12. gabe es kein warmes Wasser mehr, da die Heizung ausgefallen war. Leider melden sich Expedia und auch der Hotelbesitzer so überhaupt nicht auf meine Reklamation

No hot water in the dead of winter
Worst hotel experience I’ve had in a LONG time. Don’t let the pretty photos and the good price fool you. Employees (especially the front desk lady) were incredibly unhelpful and impolite. The pool, spa, and jacuzzi are NOT OPEN anymore, unlike the listing states. On our second day of the trip the hot water and heat went out (we were there in December, temperatures below freezing) and there was no sign posted, no updates given unless asked, no accommodations for extra blankets etc.. they said we could go to the public pool to take a hot shower but they provided no shuttle and said we could take the bus (that only comes once every two hours) or walk 30 minutes in freezing weather. When it came time to leave the only discount they offered was free breakfast. Only $70 off an almost $500 bill. This hotel feels like it used to be really great but has since gone to the dumps. Do not book here

No parking. Was told to park down the street. Room temperature was set to sauna and could not turn it down. No one at reception. Both at 3 pm and 9 am. Had to sit and wait for someone to show up. Loud. Hubby had to go knock on the door of another room at 11:30pm due to kids screaming on the balconies. Would never stay here again.

The staff are very helpful and very nice. The place is located in a very beautiful area. Breakfast is very delicious. The place is conveniently located near to the cable car around 11mins drive by car. Bus is nearby to the hotel too.

Receptionist could be more polite and smiling. He was speaking to us like he doesnt want to work here, and was very serious. I work in hotels for years but first time have seen such a receptionist. Rooms are beautiful, train rails are near but it wasnt a problem!

Older, but nice facility. Nice large room. Was not told that the high-speed train ran directly behind my room when I booked it. No AC or heat so the windows had to remain open and the train was loud.

The family room was a good set up for our family of four with two teenagers. The location is excellent for zugspitz and other excursions. There is no spa or hot tub but my understanding is that one gets access to the town health club and buses - we did not use that however. Parking is tight. They accommodated a late checkin without issue. Breakfast is available for a fee, but we did not partake.

Genuinely nice and lovely hotel in traditional Alpin style. Great atmosphere, quiet, beautiful landscape. Room is cosy and stylish, and it has all necessities. A small minus is the limited parking space but all the hotels in the area has the same problem, but on the other side within short walking distance there is a big community parking with plenty of spaces. Highly recommended hotel!

Staff was very kind and immediately helpful with our requests. Very quiet location, beautiful Mountain View, convenient onsite morning breakfasts. Bus service is great to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Eibsee.

Ich war eine Nacht mit meinem Partner dort. Für eine Nacht völlig okay, allerdings 90€ pro Nacht zu viel - 70€ wären angemessen. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend renoviert werden. Es war eher wie eine Jugendherberge/Schullandheim. Alles ziemlich altmodisch und nicht einladend. Ich empfand es auch als recht kalt im Raum, dafür war der Flur des Hotels viel zu warm. Personal war freundlich aber nicht oft anzutreffen und wenn, dann spielte die gute Frau mit dem Handy.. beim Check-Out mussten wir 15 Minuten vor der Rezeption warten, bis jemand kam. Hotelzimmer war mit Minibar gebucht.. Kühlschrank leer und nicht gekühlt. Pluspunkt für die Lage und den Ausblick vom Balkon. Fazit, nochmal werden wir das Hotel nicht buchen.

The place is beautiful and the rooms are super cozy. for the price, I paid I was very happy. The view from the room was stunning, and the showers are great. The only thing I didn't like was the pillow.

Die Bilder der Unterkunft vermitteln leider einen falschen Eindruck. Die Unterkunft ist veraltet und verfolgt kein einheitliches Konzept. Der auf den Bildern zu sehenden Wellnessbereich ist seit 3 Jahren nicht nutzbar.
