“The bathroom smelled of urine. There were blood spots on curtains and there were also con webs. The room very small. My bedroom at home was probably larger than this. Definitely not worth the money we spent to stay there.”

“This hotel is walkable to town, has a swimming pool and a hot tub & continental breakfast. The staff is delightful & kind on check in and with my questions. As I checked out the nice guy behind the desk said do you want a water bottle for the road I said yes, and it had a candy bar taped to it. Silly but wonderful. My room was ready early. “I absolutely loved staying at the Ponderosa Lodge over the Labor Day weekend. It is very conveniently located only 1 mile from the Rocky Mountain State Park entrance and a short drive from the downtown Estes Park. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hot tub is set up above the river. The rooms are beautifully decorated with original mountain style furniture and touches. It is a gorgeous property and I highly recommend it for solo travelers, couples or families with the kids.”
