A soli 5 minuti a piedi dal Lago Superiore e pochi minuti in più dai negozi e dai ristoranti del centro. Siamo aperti da giugno a settembre. Soggiorno minimo di 7 notti da domenica a domenica.
Abbiamo una cucina completa con tutto il necessario, asciugamani / asciugatrice forniti, bagno di buone dimensioni con vasca / doccia combo.
camera da letto ha 1 letto matrimoniale e 1 e letto completo e un sacco di spazio armadio. la seconda camera da letto è un soppalco sopra il soggiorno con un letto matrimoniale. Tutte le lenzuola sono fornite.
Grande ponte nella parte posteriore e firepit. Grill a gas

This is a cozy, comfortable home that is right in Grand Marais, so the lication is ideal. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is that the downstairs beds are too firm, and the only Queen size is in the loft with the stairs more like a ladder and not suitable for any very young children, older adults or anyone with ambulatory issues.

Location was goodAmple supplies /dishes, pots/pans etc in the cupboardsHouse could be cleaner, windows were real bad, also prefer blinds or curtains on windows for privacy at nite. With lights on anyone can see right in while walking by. I am personally Not comfortable without coverings on the windows in a strange area. Seating needs to be changed. We had 5 adults in house at one time and although we weren’t overweight, we are bigger people and the couch only holds 3 comfortably. The rockers are nice for kids but not for adults as they are low and hard to get out of. After a long day adventuring its nice to come home to comfortable settings and relax. Beds were 3 stars. I wld stay again if some changes were made.

Comfortable and Cozy

Cute little house and comfortable place to stay while in Grand Marais. The only complaint I have is that the toilet is too low to comfortably accommodate an elderly person with some mobility issues. However, I would consider staying there again.

Frequent Grand Marais Vacationers

This was our first time staying at this location-though we have vacationed in Grand Marais in the fall for over 20 years. We had a great experience here. The house was comfortable, clean, close to the public beach, and close to town. It had all the essentials-and more-to make our stay very enjoyable.

Excellent Lodging for Price and Location

This was a very comfortable home for my husband, our dog and myself. Grand Marais is a beautiful UP community and centrally located to access other major UP sites. And has a view of the bay. The back yard was spacious and private during our stay and the back deck was perfect for outdoor dining. We tend to primarily cook our own meals during vacation, so the kitchen as key. While there was an adjustment for the dim lighting, all appliances worked great, and so did the grill! From this location we were able to make day trips to Pictured Rocks in Munising, visit Tahquamenon River/Falls, and did an extended road trip up to Copper Bay and the Mineral Muesum at Michigan Tech. The local beaches offered gorgeous sunsets, beautiful rocks and plenty of sandy beaches. The fact that the property has a few items of work in progress, did not dampen our experience and we were so happy to be able to take our fur baby with us. Oh, the washer/dryer available allowed our 2 week stay to minimize packing requirements and keep on top of our dog's towels and blankets, LOL. Check out Gus & Jill's property for a couple or small family. We did not use the loft area at all since it was only the two of us. We will look at booking this again for future trips.

Grand Marais Gem

Gus and Jill’s home was clean, comfortable and supplied with everything we needed to enjoy our visit to Grand Marais. It is located close to the public beach access and all the places we love to visit each year. Check-in/out information was clear and we had no issues whatsoever. We highly recommend this home.

Very nice home and location. Love all the GM pictures.

Enjoyed your beautiful place. The only thing was working the TV. Not use to firestick. Otherwise great stay. Beds were very comfy and place was clean. Would recommend to friends and family. Thanks again for our stay.

Family Reunion

4th year renting from Jill and Gus. We love the location and the house is perfect for my mom, my dog and me as we make our annual visit to GM for a family reunion. The deck is newly painted and the living room has a new sectional couch that is very comfortable. Already booked for 2025!

Our stay

We had the most amazing time. This place was fully stocked with everything we needed for a perfect vacation. It was the best get away. Jill responded almost immediately to any questions I had. The short distance to lake Superior was awesome. We went to the beach everyday and found so many cool looking rocks. There is a small little town that your only a couple min away from. There's so many fun gift shops. There's also two grocery stores and a hardware store which we loved!

House close to the beach

This house is in a great location in Grand Marais. You can walk to the beach and main street where all the restaurants, shopping, and ice cream shops are. It also is in a quiet neighborhood. The home itself does need some updating, but it was fine for our stay.
