Superior Dreams - Stunning Lake Superior Bay Front Property

Welcome to the Superior Dreams, a breathtaking two story home located on a private bay beach frontage in lovely Grand Marias, Michigan. Our home offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Lake
Superior Bay with private beach frontage just steps outside your door! Each bayside window offers a breath-taking view while our inviting home provides all the comforts of a modern house. Grand Marias
Lights, Harbor, Coast Guard Museum and Break wall are just part of the amazing views.

Two stories tall with family-sized furnished bedrooms, back up generator, and a dishwasher make our "Superior Dreams" a unique Grand Marais rental. The Main level open kitchen, dining and family room is a wonderful spot to mingle and relax by the stone fireplace while enjoying the Superior views, along with the master bedroom, full bath with washer and dryer. Located on Ball Street we are a short walk from downtown Grand Marais and shopping, restaurants, Bayshore Beach Park and of course the Pickle Barrel Museum. A quick bike ride will land you at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore where one can find ample hiking, beach combing and wildlife viewing opportunities. Gas grill for cooking on the deck, along with outdoor games and beach toys. At the end of the day there is no better place to watch the sunset than the three-seasons room with extra comfy furniture. Whether on the deck, on the sugar sand beach,
or from the cozy comfort of our living room, the uninterrupted view is spectacular.

With sleeping accommodations for up to fourteen people, our home is an ideal place for large family and friends to get together, relax and reconnect with one another.

Enjoy nature and all its splendor without giving up the comforts of home.

Pleasant Surprise

This was our first trip this far north and it was great. The host was friendly and accessible. The house was perfect for us and was very clean which we appreciated. We'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house & location

The house was clean and roomy and very close to the beach. The beach was wonderful; sunsets and fires in the fire-pit every evening. Everything was so great that we booked this property next year our second night there!

We would love to come here again

This was a charming escape in a beautiful home! The view was really pleasant and our kids loved having beach access so close. It was very comfortable, and a great point of departure for Pictures Rocks while not being surrounded by other tourists. They named it superior Dreams, and it really was a dream.

Colors peaking in Grand Marais

The property was amazing as advertised. Loved the remote control fireplace, short walk to beach and open view windows looking out at the lighthouse. Access to lighthouse and beach area a few minute drive. Be aware of business hours. Tavern closes at 7 on Sundays in October on. The possibility of the northern lights attracted us and despite no luck it was difficult to make out constellations as the Milky Way was so bright. Moonless night. Just the two of us but the upstairs bedrooms with queen beds and bunk beds in both rooms may be perfect for a return visit with kids and grandkids. Be aware of black fly issues in mainly June. No problem for us.

Our best friend was told her cancer is inoperable and incurable, they gave her 9 months, a time limit on life.... so we planned a girls weekend away with her to check off items on her bucket list and make memories. This place was absolutely beautiful....we enjoyed every minute we had together. The view is breathtaking, it is quite the Lake Superior dream❤

Perfect stay!

The house was the perfect place to stay for our visit to the U.P. Very comfortable and spacious. The house sits on a private and beautiful sandy beach on the bay which was great for the kids to play and swim. Close to town and a short scenic drive to sites, waterfalls, and trails of pictured rocks. Picture perfect sunset and sunrise views! We had a great stay! Thank you.

Family getaway

We had picked the property based on location, and absolutely loved our view and the private beach. The property also had kayaks we were able to use, a huge plus. We travelled to Mackinac Island for the day, also did Kitch-iti-kipki, Pictured rocks sunset cruise. So, my friends location is great! The home was stocked, although the town is super small, the grocery store had the basics. Since this is a new property on the market I would highly encourage the property manger/owner to get a deep cleaning done of the bathrooms/kitchen area. Our kids are super scared of bugs, although we had bug spray with us, there were a ton of spider webs in the house and most all of the windows once opened had lots of bugs too, perhaps a outdoor bug spray service could solve the problem. Since there is no AC we had to open windows it was hot on those 80 degrees days. The house could also use a facelift with fresh paint and updated master bedroom linens. The bathrooms had a mixed selection of towels, I would highly recommend tossing out the worn out towels. Overall a good family vacation! Thanks.

Wonderful

The house was very nice. It was stocked very well. It was close to day trips in the UP. The town is small so I would top someplace to stock up on food. But the market in town had most things you would need. The brewery in town had wonderful food. The teenagers in the group loved that you could walk out the back door and fish. It was a wonderful stay even though the weather was not so great.
