Just twenty paces from Metate Arch are features like this in the Devils Garden.
Traveling from Bryce Canyon to Moab, we took scenic highway 12. My wonderful friend Yuki told us about this coffee house along the route. It's really hidden from the highway, but if you know it's there, it'll be your new favorite place for coffee.

You can rent the 'kottage' overnight, which Yuki had done. She reported that it was absolutely amazing.

Gorgeous views!
The slot canyons in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument are a fascinating and unique hike. Wandering through the narrow canyons and high cliff walls, you sometimes can barely see the trail in front of you as it twists and turns. This trail is the Cottonwood Narrows, which is a relatively easy hike accessed via Road 400. And bonus for dog owners - dogs are allowed to hike with you! #utah #grandstaircase #dogfriendly #hiking
