“Ana and Antonio were incredibly helpful with setting up dinner, recommending things to do, and solving any issues we faced. The property itself was great for our group of 18, plenty of space and a cool fruit tree that you can eat! Will definitely be staying here again if I find myself in the Lisbon Area (40 min drive).”

“Excellent! Très bon restaurant a 3min et la plage est a 5min en voiture. La villa en elle-même est très belle et très spacieuse mais garde malgré tout un aspect chaleureux et familiale.”

“Hebergement calme et une petite structure familiale. Propritaire très prévenant. Par contre, la voiture est indispensable. Pour se rendre a Lisbonne, il est conseillé de prendre le ferry a Bareiro sans la voiture et utiliser les transports en commun dans la capitale. ”

“Despite some issues at the check-in, the stay was very pleasant. The house is cozy and private, the garden is nice and well kept. The location is excellent to explore the area, where you can find beautiful beaches and landscapes.”

“Très jolie maison, bien équipée. Hôte très sympathique et à disposition. Magnifique environnement mais voiture obligatoire pour se déplacer dans la région qui offre de nombreuses choses à voir.”

“Belle maison, mais manque d'entretien (spots qui pendent, trace de rouille, meuble cassé, ménage succinct pour 120 euros); J'aurais aimé avoir des informations à disposition pour connaitre les festivités et les lieux à visiter. Piscine non chauffée, à moins de payer 15 eur/jour, ce n'était pas indiqué dans l'annonce, sinon nous aurions peut-être retenu une autre location...”

“Im Großen und Ganzen sehr schöne 2 Wochen. Wir hatten die Hoffnung, dass man die knapp 2km auch mal zu Fuß an den Strand laufen kann. Allerdings schaffen das nur Hartgesottene, da es keinen Gehweg gibt. Mit Kindern oder Surfboard leider nicht möglich. Wenn man genauer hinschaut, merkt man, dass das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Grundsätzlich ist es aber sehr gut ausgestattet und der kleine Pool macht v.a. den Kids viel Spaß, gerade bei 30 Grad+”

“Very well equipped. We were particularly impressed with the amount of toys and stuff to entertain the children. Unfortunately the restaurants and bars were too far out to walk to with the children. We made the most of the outside kitchen and had a lovely relaxing stay!”

“We had a really good stay. We enjoyed the pool, enough room for all of us, being in a quit place and the posibility for a cooker. Being in such secluded place required driving a gravel road and it all ways to a while to get anywhere. It didn't bother us that much.”

“I booked the property for 19 persons as a celebration for a friend. Paulo was always communicating with us for the months in the build up to the stay. The chef Jose was very friendly and cooked a great breakfast as well as a dinner for our final night. It is around 45 minutes from Lisbon but Paulo helped us organise taxis for a visit into the city on one of our days. There is also a supermarket around 5 minutes drive. Having the football pitch was also a great plus :) if you stick to the house...

“Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun.”

“We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future.”

“Schönes, sauberes Haus. Toller Pool. Super leichter Check-in. Leider bellten die Hunde des Nachbarns jedesmal, wenn jemand vorbeiging. Restaurants und Geschäfte waren leider nicht in der Nähe. Trotzdem empfehle ich diese Unterkunft für Selbstversorger weiter, die ein Auto besitzen.”

“Das Zimmer und das Bad waren super liebevoll modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Außenküche und der Pool waren ein wenig schmuddelig. Marina hat sich sofort gekümmert, wenn etwas fehlte und super schnell per sms geantwortet. Es leben drei Katzen auf dem Gelände, die sehr süß sind, einen aber auch aufdringlich anbetteln. Die Gegend ist an sich sehr ruhig, lediglich Hundebellen und Hahnkrähen sind zu hören, davon manchmal auch reichlich. Schreibt am Besten vor der Ankunft und fragt nach dem...
