Alternatively, set sail on a Windermere Lake Cruise to Bowness (14 miles) or Ambleside (20 miles) for breathtaking lake views. If you fancy venturing further along the coast, Ulverston (15 miles) is home to charming, cobbled streets and the Laurel and Hardy Museum.
