“Beautiful, peaceful and amazing scenery”

“We loved the Sauk River Cabin! Perfect base for hikes along the Mountain Loop Highway and in North Cascades NP. Great location near Darrington, which has groceries, restaurants, and gas.The cabin itself is wonderful. Very comfy, and the river-side amenities like the fire pit and the lounge chairs on the riverbank make it a great place to hang out between and after explorations.Highly recommended!”

“The house and surrounding are exactly as pictured. It did not disappoint!! The view is spectacular! The property was very private and peaceful. The house was clean and very well equipped. The beds were so comfy and the furniture was also comfortable and in great condition. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! I would highly recommend staying here!”

“It really does not show how unique this place is. The trees seem like they are supporting the house. We loved our pets there, we quickly took up the rugs and covered the couch then we could relax and watch them from the deck. The ground we lovely all the way to the river finding tunnel in the brush and mud holes. The ground we lovely all the way to the river we never had time to enjoy the new fire pit. It is a clever design in a small space. ”

“The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The weather was pretty dreary, but after spending a few hours on a hike, we loved sitting in the hot tub listening to the rain on the roof and looking out at the river. The trails around the property were fun to explore too. Host was very responsive.”

“So I think the hardest part about the stay was finding the place took me a minute or two at first and when your down there not having internet connection sucked until you find it man oh man completely breath taking for a first vacay with the family a nice snug cabin on the always flowing river. Beautiful sight to see with the mountains and eagles AND fish. Sucked driving 40 minutes to the store but being on vacation your care for things is very low so it’s not a big deal just enjoy the scenery....

“Lovely small town with a local “beach” right on a gorgeous river. The rental was directly across from the river and it was lovely to just sit on the front porch and hear the rush of the water. A short drive up the pass to Deception Falls (easy easy hike for any fitness level) and just 30 minutes to Stevens Pass. We would definitely return.”

“We booked this property to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Wayne, Nanette and Hank, the hosts were very responsive and even left us some treats and wine as a surprise. We were! Hank greeted us, tail wagging, the minute we arrived. LolThis property has so many amenities for a lakefront cottage and we used most of them! Kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub! The kitchen was well stocked and there was even a bag of ice in the freezer! This is a property that would be amazing to visit...

“This cabin exceeded every expectation. The cleanliness, hospitality, decor, landscaping, and patio space were next level, and the views were stunning. 10/10 would stay here again of returning to WA!”

“Absolutely fell in love with this property! My partner and I spent days just sitting on the back porch reading and talking while listening to the river. The mountain loop drive up to the Cascades was breathtaking! WiFi made up for the lack of cell service, and anything we needed was promptly addressed by the owners. Will look at coming back for another stay in the future!”
