Offre numerose opportunità per godere della bellezza naturale della zona, compresa la possibilità di vedere cervi e tacchini selvatici. La cabina ha un ponte avvolgente che comprende la parte anteriore coperta e un ampio ponte laterale. Posti a sedere sul ponte, set da giardino e grill a gas. Il patio inferiore offre una vasca idromassaggio per rilassarsi con i suoni del torrente e delle stelle di notte!

    High on Helton offre tre livelli di spazio abitativo. Il piano principale è caldo e accogliente con una cucina aperta / soggiorno / sala da pranzo con cattedrale, soffitti con travi a vista. La cucina dispone di frigorifero con macchina del ghiaccio. Comodi posti a sedere, perfetti per rannicchiarsi davanti al camino caldo e guardare la partita o il tuo film preferito sulla TV satellitare a schermo piatto con audio surround stereo. Wifi gratis. La camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale e una Smart TV da 42 "per lo streaming e il bagno completo è accessibile dalla camera da letto o dal corridoio.

Property is exactly as described. My husband loves to fly fish and he loves the location right on Helton Creek. We lost count of how many trout he caught. He wants to make this an annual trip!

Beautiful spot

Excellent location with lots of opportunity to take in birdwatching from porch or hot tub, fishing on the creek, grilling on the porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our drives to Grayson Highlands and Lansing and just exploring the beautiful area.

The cabin was amazing. The hot tub was nice and the property was very secluded. Even caught a few trout in the creek. Will definitely be staying there again

Great stay!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described or better! We spent most of our time by the creek fishing or playing pool downstairs.

Absolutely amazing spot! I actually like the fact that there was no cell phone service. Me and my husband was able to relax and have a nice little get away. The bed was comfortable. We love that we could just watch the deer play on the hill side from the kitchen window. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub and pole table was a huge plus! Think yall for letting us enjoy your amazing home.

Beautiful Location

Had a great weekend with friends. Location is beautiful overlooking the water. Hot tub was just what we needed after a trip on the Virginia creeper. We chose to cook every meal there and enjoy the surroundings and amenities. Plan to come back with our kids on our next trip to the area.

My stay

The beds were extremely comfortable, unlike most rental locations. The hot tub did a great job of helping unwind. I honestly expected more fish, but overall we had a great time. The only problem we encountered was buying beer, you should definitely do so before you get there

A little disappointing

Love the location and surroundings. Kitchen, upstairs bedrooms and baths very nice. We had to move or kill more than 10 wasps. The downstairs had a little smell to it. The washer had mold on the inside.

Perfect Mountain Escape

We were looking for a quiet getaway and could not have found a more perfect place! The cabin was exactly as shown. All amenities were wonderful! Comfy beds, plenty of room and beyond peaceful listening to the sounds of the creek. We had to call for a fan problem with the fridge. It was taken care of immediately....even on a holiday weekend. Definitely want to come back

We had a great stay at High on Helton. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and a great place to get away. We really enjoyed our time there. There are just a few things future guests may want to know before booking so you can plan accordingly.If you’re visiting during the summer, be aware that the home does not have central air conditioning. Instead, there is a single window AC unit located upstairs behind one of the bedroom doors. To really feel the cool air, that bedroom door needs to stay closed, but unfortunately that also means the bedroom itself doesn’t cool very well. The downstairs living area stayed reasonably comfortable, but the downstairs bedroom remained between about 80 and 84 degrees during our stay. If you’re visiting during the warmer months, I’d recommend bringing a fan or another portable cooling device to make sleeping downstairs more comfortable.If anyone in your group has difficulty climbing stairs, it’s worth knowing that there are several fairly steep steps from the parking area up to the main level of the house. Carrying luggage up those steps took some effort for us. There is basement-level access directly from the parking area, but you’ll still need to use stairs to reach the main living area. Guests with mobility limitations may want to consider this before booking.The fire pit area is much farther from the house than the listing photos make it appear. While it is on the property, it’s located down the steep driveway/hillside that you drive u

Fantastic stay by the river

This property is very isolated and we deeply enjoyed listening to the river, the rain, and all the birds in the trees surrounding it. If you're into fishing, it looks like this would be a great spot! Otherwise, it's a fantastic house, with great decks and rec-room in a great location. Bugs aren't an issue, as I was worried they might be (being in the trees and so close to the river). The AC window unit also kept up well and the basement stays very cool on its own (although I would expect to stay a bit warmer during the height of summer, if that's an issue).

Great Getaway

We take all our kids and all our nephews every year on a trip for their Christmas gift. This place was so much fun. The kids were never bored at all with the hot tub, game room, fire pit and river at the back door. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I have to complain about was someone threaten to call the law on us for noise and we were not even being loud and the neighbors are not close at all. You could compare how loud we were to guys watching a football game. Also there were fisherman walking all on the property to get to the river and once I found them sitting at the fire pit. That made us very cautious with letting the kids have complete free range. Other then those 2 things, we hope to visit again and would definitely recommend this quaint little house to others. 1 more thing I would recommend taking a truck if you have one. Most of the roads are gravel.

Nice private home to relax

The property is a nice home and seems well suited for a family of 5 (Living Room only accommodates 5 people). The home is adjacent to a babbling creek and a place to hang by the water. The kitchen is well used and could use a deep cleaning (discovered a bag of weed in the utensil drawer). Kitchen has adequate plates and pots, but no baking dishes. The single window air condition seemed to cool the main floor ok as long as the 2nd floor bedroom door was closed. The addition of a central HVAC system would be a plus to remove the moisture in the house, especially from the basement. New fresh smelling towel would be a plus. This property is out of the way and is about 1 hour to Damascus or 1.5 hours to Boone, but very close to lots of fishing. Though I was concerned with the inadequate HVAC for the August temperatures, we had a good time at the house and found the hot tub refreshing after activities. A few minor rental updates would make this place wonderful. One note: There are cameras outside and inside the property.
