Perfect for Fishing

Great view
Great place to get away from it all. Sitting on the deck was so relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful view, very quiet neighborhood while we were there. House was clean and communication was great. Could use some new dishes and utensils, other than that a great place to stay.

View was amazing. Supplies that were provided were good. Bunk beds need new mattresses. Deck needs an outside light. Place needs deep cleaned and garbage situation isn't the best but overall, for the price, it was decent.

Great little getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and it was so peaceful. We enjoyed spending time on the dock and lounging in the lake. The house itself provided all the basics to enjoy our time. Definitely will be a consideration for a return visit.

Great stay
Stayed for almost a week over July 4th. Had a great time. House was perfect for my wife and I along with our two young kids. Everything worked and was set up as expected. Fished and swam off the dock and is close enough to town to grab stuff if needed. Would recommend.

Great place for our weekend
The cozy lake house is as described. For our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 tweens) it was just the right size. We had good weather and spent a lot of time on the dock and swimming/ floating right there. Because it was a weekend in July, I expected the water to have too much wake to simply jump in and enjoy (and to be fair there were a few moments) but it was delightful and fun! The house itself has been recently updated, is clean, although it’s not huge it is very comfortable, the deck is great, and it is easy to get to. The kitchen has the base necessities with good appliances. We had a great weekend get-away!!

Great lil Place with a beautiful view
Perfect place for our getaway. Lots of places to eat and things to do on the water...Many close by. The house was very clean and had most everything we needed for our stay. House is a little small for 2 couples but would be perfect for a family with a couple small children. The view from the living room is spectacular. The house is decorated very cute. They were stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, TP etc... The lake was a little rough at times but we found it ok to float. Mornings and early afternoon was pretty calm. My ONLY complaint is that there is no place to put your stuff. Luckily my sister-in-law brought some over the door hooks and collapsible clothes hampers. They were a life saver. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. And the price was right!!! Jeff was VERY attentive to my texts and had quick answers to my questions. Overall, I give this stay a 9 out of 10!

There is a husband and wife team (I forgot their names) that was VERY helpful. The boat ramp is narrow and challenging to back your trailer into but once you get to the water LOZ was great!

Roomie and pretty view
My husband and I stayed here with our two kids, 8 & 6, and were very comfortable. My favorite part was the view and the wall of windows to enjoy the view. Kids liked the bunk bed and hubs enjoyed fishing off the pier. Hosts responded to messages very quickly. Overall would stay here again.

Absolutely amazing view
The house was decorated nicely, the appliances were also nice. The house is perfect for a couple. The view from the deck was amazing and the stars at night were beautiful. We really enjoyed fishing. We would definitely recommend this property, lots of wildlife. We just have 2 suggestions for the property, the shower needs anti slip straps and the steps to the dock definitely need to have lights. We had a great time for a week, wish we could of stayed longer.

Beautiful View
The view of the lake was gorgeous. The house was just right for the two of us. It’s located at the quiet end of the lake away from all the tourist attractions which was just fine by us. The kitchen had only the very basics so preparing our own meals as we did was a little challenging. Jeff was super responsive and when we needed something had a quick solution!

Very Relaxing
This was our first time renting a house on a lake. It was very easy and relaxing. Enjoyed being right on the lake and being able to take our boat out when ever we wanted. Local stores not too far away. Lots of restaurants to eat at on the lake. We definitely will come back.

Great View, busy area, needs a deep cleaning, driveway an issue
So first timers to Lake of the Ozark's understand, this is a highly developed lake with houses, condos, mansions, hotels, etc. stacked on top of each other. Many roads are tight and manuring, especially with a boat can be tough. There are "quieter" parts of the lake, but they will be a distance from boat up restaurants. It's also a busy lake on the water with large boats and waves. There are lots of coves that you can boat back into and anchor. Positive:The view out of the window and deck is amazing. Open layout is nice and there is plenty of dishes and cooking stuff. Price was decent. Dock with lift and place to put the trailer. You have to venture out but we did find a couple of quite coves to swim in. A few restaurants are somewhat close to boat to. Negative: The dock is not family friendly for younger kids who want to swim, its constant waves and rocking from 8:00am-7:00pm and this was on weekdays, I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. Two different times we had waves of floating debris that washed in and stayed in the dock areas, plastic, trash, wood, etc. A piece of a dock washed into the back of our boat under the swim deck and when we started the engine it got stuck in the prop. There is a lift which you have to use otherwise your boat will get beat up. However, there are no instructions on how to use it, so make sure and ask. The "ramp" to put a boat in is only usable for small boats max 14', very small and the roads are very tight. We have a 21' boat and wound up having to ask around to find where to put in at. Had to pay $20 to use the Marina one. The house needs a good deep cleaning. The bunk beds are very squeaky so we moved one of our kids out to the living room, make sure and request sheets for the couch beds as there wasn't any. The coach beds are dated. It might be better to just bring an air mattress. We did have a small ant issue as well, some got into our food basket. Overall I don't want to bash someones place, but this is clearly a place that was bought to churn out rent as fast and cheap as possible. Great view and a dock with a lift for the price is a plus.

Great weekend at the lake
We stayed Wed-Sun with 2 kids. Had a blast swimming, fishing and hanging out. The house had about everything we needed and the bedrooms were comfortable. Clean outside of a few ants by the door. Good parking area and nice deck. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dock is wonderful to sit and relax or swim off. Water clean and warm. The area is relatively quiet but not too far from the town of Laurie. The view is tremendous( it didn’t disappoint. Would stay here again.

Great Place To Stay With A Boat
This home has wonderful views of the Lake and is great for relaxing on the back deck or dock. The boat lift was very handy to keep our boat out of the waves caused by the big boats passing by. A few miles from a grocery store, bait shop restaurants and more.

Fantastic view! Cute and cozy, had a wonderful time. Washer and dryer had a note, waiting for parts, but it was fine without it. There is a ripped broken chair on the deck that can’t be used just an FYI, would rent again and/or possibly the next door one. Overall fantastic experience!

Amazing, private lake house
My husband and I stayed here with our three year old daughter and we had a terrific time. Everything we could want was there. Loved the little touches like toys for kids and the porch swing. The view above all was the best part. 100% recommend!

Great Weekend Getaway

The Perfect Getaway
The property was clean and looks like it had recently been updated. It was a great mix of old and new accents. The beds were comfy, the living room was almost completely windows which was fantastic. There was a dishwasher too. The view of the lake is amazing from the deck and living room. A couple things we could not find, measuring cups, knives, certain utensils, and you need to bring ice, plus there is not an electrical outlet in the bathroom, but they had extension cords and mirrors in the bedroom so we made that work. The area where the toilet it is a bit tight as well. Overall, I still give this place a 5 star rating because its not worth missing based on the few little items above. We loved it. We will be back with more friends.

Good value even with a challenging driveway
Clean and comfortable. Good value. Would recommend for couples and small families. Would have been better with more and assorted cookware and bowls, etc. Other reviews have included warnings of the inconvenient narrow & steep rock driveway. We concur. A couple of times maneuvering while backing out of the driveway, we got the hang of it.

Thank you for the review! Happy you enjoyed! We are going to have the drive widened over the winter in the off season. Also other planned improvements.
