Amazing 2-bedroom apartment sunny and quiet in Great Barrington

Historic home Nestled on a quiet street in downdown Great Barrington, just steps from the River Walk path, this enchanting apartment features 2 bright and airy queen bedrooms, perfect for a small group of guests.

This is a Duplex house - you will have one entire side which has a queen bedroom on the first floor and a Queen bedroom and bathroom on the second floor. The stairs to the second floor have a handrail but they are steep. The apartment features amenities like Roku TV, WiFi, Back Yard Gas Grill, washer/dryer in Basement, fully equipped eat-in kitchen.

The apartment has beautiful artwork throughout and nice touches like plants and locally made pottery. The newly renovated bathroom offers modern glass door, step-in shower.

The font enclosed porch is perfect for storing ski or outdoor gear

Your stay will be comfortable and convenient as you can easily walk to the downtown cafes, food coop, great restaurants and the theater. We are a 10 minute drive to Butternut ski areas and close to hiking trails and performing arts center - Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow.

We hope you enjoy what our place and everything the Berkshires and Great Barrington has to offer.

Spotless and lovely. We slept in the upstairs bedroom which had a very comfortable mattress. The stairs are not prohibitively steep and will be fine for anyone with average mobility and balance. There is also a sturdy handrail. The village location is superb for strolling around town.

Great location- just a quick walk to shops and restaurants- clean-quiet neighborhood -comfortable bed and furniture and the washer and dryer was a plus. Kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes. Keep in mind if you have any issues with stairs that the only bathroom is upstairs and the laundry is in the basement.

Nicely located in a quiet neighborhood and easy walk to a very busy Main Street with numerous shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped but I missed not having a Keurig for coffee. The traditional coffee pot was adequate. All the other rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The stairs into the home and going to the 2nd floor could pose a problem for those with mobility and/or balance issues. After getting home late one evening during my stay, I entered the home and was met with dark rooms. It was a little difficult navigating to the closest light in the living room to turn a light on. There are no nightlights in the home so if you're going to be out after dark or have a tendency to get up in the middle of the night, plan accordingly. The host, Paris, was quick in responding to my booking and provided al the details I needed for a great stay while checking in as well as out of the property. Thank you Paris for an enjoyable weekend in Great Barrington.

Nice, basic but roomy place in great location in Great Barrington. Please note that there is only 1 bathroom, up narrow and steep stairwell on 2nd floor. Probably fine for some but not so easy for us.

Watch out for the stairs off the bedroom

The pictures weren’t quite a good representation. The stairs from bedroom to bathroom we dangerous for a night run to use . We decided on a different place for the second night.

Comfortable and close to downtown

This property offers comfort and convenience. We loved that it was walking distance to downtown and many restaurants & coffee shops. The bed was comfortable. Apartment is just as pictured, maybe even better! Would definitely stay again..

A Perfect Getaway

My husband and I decided to spend a few days in Great Barrington as part of our April vacation. We come to the area to go to concerts at Mahaiwe often, but never stay more than a night. This property ended up to be a perfect getaway!The location in town is perfect. The house itself is so pretty and comfotrable. We came to read, relax, explore new areas, and get to know the community better. This rental is a perfect place to do all of that. We had everything we needed, the beds are really comfortable, the front porch is great for sitting and feeling a part of the neighborhood. And there is so much downtown to explore within walking distance. Fantastic!!!We highly recommend a stay at this property!!

Close to it all

Walkable to the heart of GB, and all the restaurants/bars you need, while still in a quiet part of town. Outside temps were in the 20’s/30’s all week, and the house heated up quickly. The entire house is cozy, furniture is comfortable. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom isn’t the best but was good enough for the week. The bathroom is updated and water gets hot quickly. Loved our stay, will be repeat guests and highly recommend to anyone needing a place near the town center.

Girl’s weekend.

We loved the location of the rental and how we could just walk to town, walk to church, walk the River walk. It was a perfect spot! Quiet neighborhood. We liked that! Lots of terrific little shops. We will definitely be back!

Great downtown location - walk to dinner!

A great winter getaway in the Berkshires. We loved the location of this very nice spot in Great Barrington. Had some great dinners we could walk to and we were able to do amazing hikes during the day and visit other spots around GB as well. Would definitely recommend! House is clean and has a nice vibe and beds comfortable. Nice shower too!
