“The staff all gave the most amazing service, its the care to detail the little extra that stands out. I could not find anything to complain about. The evening menu (££££) looked amazing, however I was not wanting a rich meal . So they let me order a sandwich. My husband enjoyed the fish pie. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent quality with plenty of choice. ”

“Really well appointed rooms with funky decor, great beds & funiture, and lovely bathrooms. They've done a great job of the hotel and grounds, and it's a great location in the village opposite the church. Easy access to nearby towns, the moors and the coastline. Would highly recommend. A real gem.”

“Yes welcoming for dogs. Had a poolside suite. Only things i would say are the pillows are very hard and the bed linen could be softer. I say this because is expensive to stay. Also had to pay for a cappuccino at breakfast and i think when you pay this money you shouldnt need too”

“Jacuzzi was out of order and pool cold due to broken pump. No complimentary breakfast or discount was given. Very disappointed as only booked that hotel over others for facilities and they were unavailable. 30 minute walk to get to the main attractions”

“Pros- Good pool. Great breakfast with wide variety. Lovely restaurant staff. Lovely maintenance staff. Good location a little away from the centre. Some nice restaurants nearby. Plenty of space for paid parking. Comfy beds. Accomodates kids well. Cons- Sewage smell from basin. Reception staff seem a little more overwhelmed than other staff. Signs of wear all over the room - carpets, broken lamp, superficial damage/scratches to bathtub. ”
