“The stay here was bought for us as a gift. It was such a thoughtful gift as we had 2 wonderful days / nights in the beautiful village of Helmsley. The heated pool was a real delight as was the use of the spa facilities. ”

“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”

“The room was big and comfortable. The air conditioning kept the room pleasant despite the unusually hot weather. Facilities in the room were good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Close to the train station and centre of town.”

“Room was clean and well appointed. Restaurant food was of a good standard. Pool was clean but you can only book a 30min slot and there are only two changing cubicles.”
