“First hostel stay. I’m sure it’s a very nice hostel but the hostel experience is not for me. I did not like the shared bathroom and showers. In my opinion, these should be like a home bathroom / shower…shared consecutively, not concurrently. You’re also at the mercy of the laziest and most slovenly traveler who refuses to clean up after themselves in the public spaces. I really dislike having to clean a toilet or a sink before I can use. I also think the single lounge on the first floor is...

“Reminds me of some of the best hostels I stayed in while traveling in Europe. Super clean, very modern, and a great vibe. Joe was there when we checked in, and was super helpful in helping us get settled. Great retail store below, and a cool looking bar as well (window-shopped the store, didn’t hit the bar). It is a hostel, so be prepared for shared bathrooms, etc., but we expected that and it was all in all a great stay. Will totally stay there again!”

“Great location, staff very helpful, nice breakfast, comfortable beds. If something I have to mention is that there is only 1 WC per floor (or at least I only noticed one) for so many people might be not enough, however I never had to wait to use it and it was decently/relatively clean so I don't complain.”

“The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...
