Dear Francoise, Thank you for your review for which I am surprised, because guests are informed about the recommendation of hiring a car and the exact position of the villa which is not far from everything. The beach is exactly below the house, the Vathy bay restaurants and shops are 10' walk and all other island places are 10-20' minutes drive. There are very few places on the island combining all those features.

Welcome to beautiful Vathy
To make it short: this place is outstanding beautiful and to more than 100% recommended by my husband and me. The house is a little bit up the hill and has a beautiful view on the cove of Vathy. It is surounded by Oleander Flowers in every coulour and in a size, I can only dream of in Germany. Below the house is a litte beach near the traditional pottery. Also a great place - we swam there every morning and also bought very special, handmade pottery. We could even see how it is produced, as the workshop is also the sales room. Our house had a very warm welcome for us: there were water, fruits, ingredients for a first breakfirst... All nicely decorated, starting from the kitchen and ending in the bathrooms with a selection of soap and cosmetics. Perfect equipment for cooking and having dinner on the terrace during sunset. Very nice wooden furniture on the terrace and also inside the house there is a tasteful, cozy furnishings... I could go on writing and refer to so many beautiful things. Really, everything was perfect. Nothing to worry or complain about - just the opposite is fact. As I have limited space here, let me mention Nikos, our host: he was a real care taker, gave us all information needed and offered support every time. Thanks you so much for your hosting. We felt more than welcome and honetsly fell in love with Sifnos. All the best, Christina and Volker

Extremely well equipped house in a stunning location
It's a pleasure to find a house with everything you need for a great vacation. The location is ideal with superb views over the bay of Vathy, the beach is just below the house and you can walk to the restaurants along the sea. The house itself has all the equipment you could need including a kitchen with a far wider range of possibilities than the vast majority of houses we have rented. Vathy itself is also a beautiful, quiet little town without the clubs and thousands of tourists you can find in bigger resorts. A great place for a calm getaway.

Une vue imprenable et des hôtes adorables!
Très bonne expérience! maison idéale pour un séjour en famille, très propre, fonctionnelle, bien équipée, mais le must c’est la terrasse ombragée avec une vue magnifique sur la baie et la gentillesse de Nikos et Christina! Plage de sable avec eaux cristallines très facilement accessible à pied par le sentier côtier.

Fast am Privatstrand abseits vom Trubel
Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit wunderbarer großzügiger Terrasse und schöner Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Bucht von Vathy. Das Haus steht in Tsopos am Südrand der Bucht ganz nahe am Strand, wo sich nur wenige Besucher der Töpferwerkstatt hin verirren, so dass man der Strand fast für sich alleine hat. Auch ideal mit Kindern, flaches Wasser und kaum Wellen. Ohne Auto sind es 20 Minuten Fußmarsch entlang dem Wasser zum Dorfladen und den Restaurants, toller sicherer Weg entlang dem Meer auch über Felsen, auch nach dem Abendessen gut machbar. Mit dem Auto sind es auch 10 - 15 Minuten erst 1 km der Berg hoch und dann um das ganze Bay mit Serpentinen. Absolut empfehlenswertes Objekt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekter Urlaub
Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und großzügig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage am Ende der Bucht, mit einem herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Wir sind jeden Morgen vor dem Frühstück zum Schwimmen an "unseren" kleinen Sanstrand gegangen und haben dann im Ort eingekauft. Der schmale Weg über die Felsen ist kurzweilig und schön. Das Haus ist ideal für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern. Wir waren zwei befreundete Ehepaare und haben das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer genutzt. Da alles Andere wirklich keine Wünsche offen läßt, haben wir diese Situation nicht überbewertet. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Amazing stay. Incredible view and hospitality
We had a wonderful stay at the house with my family, including 3 kids (8,6,3). The house is very cute, incredibly clean and well kept. The view doesn’t getting any better and you’re a 3 minute walk to the beach. We highly recommend it!

This villa was fantastic! The accommodation was great for 4 adults. The villa was very well equipped especially the bbq. The huge deck was perfect to chat, drink and watch the boats enter the bay. Private beach and nice water to swim in. A walk around the bay was a nice start to my day.

Séjour formidable à sifnos. Île magnifique, gens gentils et accueillants.
La maison de Nikos est incroyable: Bel emplacement( vue sur la plus belle plage de l’ile). Elle est grande, bien équipée et très propre. Il y a le nécessaire de prévu comme si c’était notre propre maison, On se sent comme chez soi. Nikos et sa famille ont été très accueillants et toujours disponibles. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable à sifnos ( gens très accueillants, île magnifique, pas trop de monde et restauration excellente). nous recommandons vivement la maiSon de Nikos qui est un petit paradis, comme il n’en existe plus tant que cela...merci Nikos.

Cycladic house in Vathy Bay
We absolutely loved our stay at your beautiful home, such a wonderful time, such a lovely welcome. The only thing I could possibly suggest would be a daily delivery of bread and milk if people don’t have a car or perhaps be able order some food/drinks to be there upon arrival.? You left so many useful things like salt/pepper/vinegar/jam/water, we were so grateful and no other houses have done as much as you. Thank you xx
