Rifugio panoramico sulla St. Johns River

La proprietà comprende un lungo molo con canoe, veranda completamente avvolgente, bellissima area salotto all'aperto con firepit e vista sul fiume e sulle terre paludose adiacenti. Goditi una bottiglia di vino di San Sebastian (fornito a tutti gli ospiti della locale St. Cantina di Agostino) mentre si prende l'atmosfera della St. Johns. A solo un'ora da tutte le spiagge locali e dalla storica St. Agostino, la città più antica degli Stati Uniti.

Sitting by the dock of the bay

While it is a river and not a bay, you’d never know it. It’s as wide as the Hudson and pretty as a picture. Heck, I even caught some fish off the dock! The home is GREAT for families and there was plenty to do. Town and supplies were a short 25 minutes. What a great place!

Stunning Sunrise

All the comforts of home in this getaway on the river. Watch the wildlife while sitting on the huge porch or read a book while relaxing in the hammock. The dock is inviting, offering more opportunities to get close to nature. The house is clean; everything you need is there. Beds are comfortable. Great place to get away from the hectic demands of everyday life. Good access to visit St. Augustine. Highly recommended.

Stay on the River

Beautiful location. Well cared for property. Nice neighbors. Love the bird feeders and got to meet a raccoon. The only thing is it was quite aways from Green Cove Springs. Closer to Palatka so unsure why the address is Green Cove Springs. But worth the distance.

Great hideaway

Great place to get away. Quiet and relaxing. Loved the little sitting area on the dock! Beautiful place to watch the moon come up. The wildlife turkeys came to the bird feeder. So interesting to watch. The home had everything that we needed to stay for the two weeks we were there.

Slice Of Heaven

Million dollar view. The home was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Lots of attention to detail! The owner was super responsive to us. If you need a place to kick back and unwind this is the place to recharge your batteries. Fishing is fun and plentiful! Thank you for opening up your home to us! We hope to be back soon!

Hidden treasure

This is a very well maintained and relaxing place for a getaway. The host has this place set up wih all the amenities that you need. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and play ping-pong.

River retreat

Loved the location, the view, the wildlife, great rainstorms, wonderful seclusion. The Wi-Fi could use a booster, but we were able to stream online some. We brought (and contributed to!) DVDs to watch, as local channels are not plentiful. Did not use a lot of the outside/outdoor amenities as it was blazing hot. We went to several different springs close(ish), and did some antique shopping in Palatka & Green Cove. Lovely home, a little ‘musty’ but you’re close to the river. If you want seclusion this is your place!

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful property and vey relaxing, with fun nearby.

Amazing wildlife and outdoor environment. Fun fishing and bird watching. Comfortable beds and a cozy house. Owner was responsive and easy to communicate with during the stay.

St Augustine trip

The house was great and well stocked with essentials, Location was great. Only issue, the internet was almost useless. You could log on but opening websites/tv was slow or never opened or pixilated and cut-out. I suggest placing the router/modem next to the TV. It solved the problem at our house. Had a great time.

Peaceful getaway

This is a beautiful place, so peaceful and everything super smooth with check-in. The house has everything we needed, loved the outdoor fire pit and well stocked kitchen. The house has a great open layout with plenty of room to spread out. We had a wonderful visit.

Wonderful vacation

Right from the moment we arrived we were pleased. The house is comfortable, well furnished and the kitchen lacked only a roll of aluminum foil which was an easy fix when we found Publix in Palatka. The wraparound porch and dock were our favorite spots. When we arrived the azaleas were blooming. Our highlight was probably lunch with Mike and Rhanda one day. Several day trips into St Augustine gave us a little action but the peace and tranquility at the river house were what we wanted and found.
