Peaceful 3-Bedroom Country Farmhouse Situated on 125 Acre Horse Farm

  • The Farmhouse at Lindwood offers 3-bedroom and 2-full bathrooms with enough space to accommodate up to 6 guests.

    The house combines the old fashion charm of a farmhouse with modern comforts such as WiFi, Smart TV's, Washer & Dryer, and Air Conditioning. For those that love to cook, prepare a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen then gather around the large dining room table to enjoy your family dinner.

    However you spend your time while at The Farmhouse at Lindwood, this peaceful property will quickly become your home away from home.

    The farmhouse is located on a real working horse farm, so from time to time you will see farm equipment during your stay and if you happen to be here between January and June, you may have the opportunity to witness the birth of a foal.

    Enjoy the beauty of the horses and farm views from almost every room in the house. Guests have use of the entire farmhouse with the exception of the attic, basement and garage.

    Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the property, walking trails, and farm fish pond. Guests are not permitted inside the horse pastures or barns unless accompanied by the property hosts. Walking up to the horse fence to view the horses is permitted. Fishing is allowed at the farm pond, but all fish must be caught and released. Sorry, but we do not allow swimming at the farm pond.

    For our equestrian guests, Lindwood Farm offers a place to board your horse during your stay.

    We are conveniently located near ski resorts, golf courses, white water rafting, amusement parks, casinos, bike trails, breweries, wineries and the beautiful Laurel Highlands. Less than an hour drive from Pittsburgh and just minutes away from local shopping and restaurants.

    No parties, events or outside guests permitted unless approved in advance by the property hosts. Smoking is prohibited (this includes smoking, vaping, ALL tobacco products, and e-cigarettes.) Children must be supervised at all times.

    The Farmhouse at Lindwood does not allow pets.

Location is beautiful, with views of the farm & horses with foals outside.House has space to relax, cook & eat as a group, & is wonderrfully quite in the evenings.Pristine surroundings, with everything needed to settle in.Close to historic sites, museums, trails & shopping.Hosts were very thoughtful & flexible, while being unobtrusive.We intend to return soon.

The farmhouse is our "home away from home" when we visit family in PA. It is the only vacation home we have stayed at more than once! Such a beautiful setting, and only a short distance from stores!

A beautiful home just outside of Greensburg. Our family of 4 were very confterable and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Gina was a great hoast, making sure we were very comfterable throughtout our stay.

Most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The horses are amazing to see and talk to. Gina and Dennis are wonderful hosts, taking time to ensure we were happy and comfortable.

The farm house is a beautiful place to stay and relax. We spent most of our free time on the amazing screened in porch. We enjoyed watching the horses by day and the fireflies by night. The location is peaceful and quiet. The house has plenty of space for a large family or in our case, a party of three adults. Greensburg was close and had plenty of yummy food options. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay at the farmhouse again

It was lovely. There was an array of snacks and coffees. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. A very sunny house with horses in the back yard and across the street. I'm sure we will stay again on our next visit to PA. My only negative was the twin bed was a bit uncomfortable. Thanks Gina for being a great host.

The farmhouse is very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Unexpected snow fell and the walkway was shoveled and this was much appreciated. We highly recommend.

What a wonderful destination. From the hospitality of the hosts, Gina and Dennis, the serene settings, the early morning dewy mist on the horses and pastures, the farmhouse, with its screened in sun room (my favorite spot). I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. So if your thinking of the Greensburg area, or even if your not, this is a must for anyone wanting relaxation.

Farmhouse stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse and Gina was a terrific host. She was very communicative throughout our entire stay, met us upon arrival (it was late in the evening too) for a quick tour, and provided us with some helpful local recommendations for meals. We'd definitely book here again if we're back in the area.

Four adults and a baby arrived from out of town for a family gathering. Our experience was everything that we wished it would be and more! The home is immaculate and fully stocked both in the kitchen, baths, bedrooms and outdoor patio. An added bonus is the host, Gina. What a wonderful gem she is. Gina is available all the time to assist and gives tours of the horse farm where the farmhouse is located.We have family nearby so we intend to book this wonderful stay as many times as possible!

Absolutely beautiful place. The owners were responsive and super friendly. We had plenty of space for two young kids to play and explore. The sunroom was great and we got views of the horses on the property. The space was very clean and had everything we needed. We would live to come back and stay again! I would highly recommend this place to others.

The Farmhouse was extremely welcoming and well-stocked. Gina even gave us a beautiful tour of the property one morning and we got to feed the horses some treats. There are plenty of towels and warm blankets for the cold weather. The gorgeous location on the farm is peaceful and serene and the location was perfect for us visiting with family in Greensburg. We will certainly be back to stay at the Farmhouse next time we’re in PA!

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. It is in a beautiful, peaceful location with views of the horses right outside of the window. Gina was an incredible host; she even took my family on a golfcart tour of the horse farm and then later her son gave my kiddos a tractor ride. The house was clean, had everything you'd need, and the beds were very comfortable. I have nothing bad to say - it was a wonderful stay, and we are so grateful for Gina's hospitality.

Graduation Weekend

It was great! Gina was a wonderful host and offered to give us a tour around the property. Unfortunately we were unable to do so, but the property and horses were beautiful. The farmhouse was comfortable and we really enjoyed the enclosed back porch. If we are back in this area and need a place to stay, we won’t hesitate to stay here.

Our family stayed to attend my daughter's graduation at Pitt. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the house is lovely. It was very clean, plenty of comfy beds, and a nice kitchen. We did not get to use the screened in porch because it was still chilly, but I'm sure it would be a wonderful place to eat breakfast. We came at the perfect time to see the foals (4 were born during our stay) and Gina took the time to take us on a tour of the farm and hear about its history. She was an absolutely lovely host and even overnighted the glasses I left behind! With my daughter planning to live in Pittsburgh and a niece still in college there, I'm sure we will be back.
