The stairs are wooden, so it was noisy at night when other visitors came in. The doors do not close softly, so this was noisy until midnight. Free parking with plenty of spaces available was very helpful, as parking in the area is residential. Room was compact (as advised in advert) but limited hanging space. Tea, coffee, milk and loo paper not replenished daily. Fridge was at ground level and hard to...”Recensione del giorno ottobre 21, 2026Andata e ritorno • Milano (MIL) - Manchester (MAN)MXP - MAN • Diretto MAN - MXP • Diretto430 €304 €trovato 18 ore faa persona - OYO Cornerstone Manor Hotel

On the down side: Access to the hotel parking was not stated so we parked next door and were told we had to go around to the back of the building. The signs were not seen as it was dark and we ended up parking in a place we should not have. Check before you go if thinking of using. Getting access was odd and not as described in the site details on Hotel.com or on the message sent to me. Grizebeck: offerte sugli hotel
“Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.”
“Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. This gave the room a tired and poorly maintained appearance and certainly detracted from the overall experience. Another disappointment was the lack...

“Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return.”
“This was our first time staying at an independent hotel and we were welcomed by a polite staff member. However, the conditions of the room and amenities of it could’ve been better such as the shower, the floor and walls. The shower was mouldy, the floor was very squeaky for both our room and neighbours making the noise doubled and the walls had no purpose whatsoever as they were so thin , hearing neighbours frequently. Our breakfast on the last morning wasn’t served to us and we got told to go...
“We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there”
“Very helpfull and friendly staff especially Morgan and Megan. Room clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. Excellent views of Lake Windermere. Food was delicious with superb gluten free options”
