“Great location, great parking, great spa steam room, jacuzzi and sauna.
No aircon, tatty hotel and rooms, it needs money spending on this hotel.
Breakfast is buffet style and not the best.
Good staff”

“Very pleased with the staff the room very clean. More than happy with the parking which we pre booked £8 per day pay on arrival but very secure. Over all very good value for money.”

“Would never stay at this hotel again, we booked a windowless room however this was 2 floors below ground. The lifts weren’t working , the stairwell was dirty , the corridors didn’t have carpet or they were extremely worn, trying to find your room and way out was ridiculous it was like a rabbit warren with very poor signage . I was told that the rooms had previously been used for asylum seekers and this was obvious given the condition of the facility”

“Room was ok but was quite far away and only stairs to access it.
I had the buffet style meal at tea time and it was lovely with a good selection.
Parking is a nightmare but it’s to be expected in a city centre.”

“The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. I couldn't fault any one of them but I would mention abby particularly.
The service was impeccable and the food was very food. Breakfast was so good and there was a lot of choice.
We had a pool room which was perfectly positioned next to the pool which was clean with loungers and seating.
I would highly recommend a visit here and we will certainly visit again.”

“We stayed for 5 nights. We moved from a standard room at the front corner of the hotel as it was noisy and claustrophobic. The en suite having been built into the corner of the room , so all the other stuff ie chairs table wardrobe were squeezed in. The poolside suite which we were kindly moved to was new, spacious had air con and walk in shower ,……. stunning altogether! Such a difference ! Could not fault it !!! It was so hot when we stayed, so made good use of the outdoor pool. Bar area had...

“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”
