“The farm surrounding is picturesque and we loved the cabin. What a nice touch to have a gift for the children too! The hospitality was excellent, I highly recommend this if you are looking for some peace and tranquility.”

“Wonderful. If you are coming to Outdshoorn this is the place to stay. We loved it. The building, the room, the staff and the food all First Class. Wish we had stayed longer. It is most definitely a place we will return to for a longer stay.When we arrived they showed us the smaller room we had booked and for a small supplement we upgraded to a lovely larger room.”

“Annalee was very accommodating when we arrived late and still gave us the full tour and description of her property. The area has lots to do with ostrich farms, Cango caves. Bufflesdrift Lodge is nearby is a great place for dinner. Bufflesdrift also has elephant tours and feedings etc!”

“Es war unsere erste Unterkunft nach der Landung in Südafrika. Wir waren in einem Cottage untergebracht und es war einfach zauberhaft. Landes typisch, sauber und ganz herzlich eingerichtet. Das Essen war lecker und das Frühstück fantastisch. Auch die Exkursionsfahrten waren sehr lustig und informativ. Wir haben die zwei Tage dort sehr genossen. Es hat uns gelernt Südafrika lieben zu lernen. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place”

“Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite ”

“Our family stayed at Swartberg Country Manor for one night in February. The first thing that greeted us was the beautiful grounds, and restaurant with a stunning view of the mountain. Then we saw a beautiful historic house with a big old stoep; here we enjoyed 3 very comfortable rooms. And let me not forget the kind and professional staff, including their head chef who made the most wonderful 3 course dinner! A gem! Thank you for a lovely stay. ”

“What an amazing stay! We arrived late at night, but were given such a warm welcome and even asked what we wanted to eat in advance so they could have it ready for us. A simply gorgeous location in the mountains. The focus on fresh, farm ingredients too was a treat. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I would return here in a heartbeat. ”

“12 Zelte mitten auf einer Ranch. Kleiner Shop mit allem was man braucht. Gibt Frühstücks- und Grillkörbe zu bestellen. Im Zelt ist alles da. Auf der Ranch gibt es viele Tiere zu beobachten. Typisch für ein Zelt hört man alles um einen herum. Auch nachts die Tiere. Ein tolles Erlebnis. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Attraktionen (Straußenfarmen, gamelodges, tropfsteinhöle,...)”

“A paisagem é indiscutivelmente linda porém vc tem que ir extremamente equipado com comida pq não há absolutamente nada no local. O local mais próximo para alimentação é a 35 km da propriedade. Achamos estranho não sermos recebidos por ninguém ao chegarmos. Não há recepção, não há telefone nos quartos para falar com absolutamente ninguém responsável e não tem sinal de internet.”
