Check in was easy, the staff was so very friendly, and the location was great. The breakfast was also very good - try the Northern Lao soup. It was great and I had it every day.”

“Mekong Riverview is an excellent option if you want to have a unique experience in Luang Prabang. It may not have the amenities of a five-star hotel, but I enjoyed it a lot more than staying at a cookie-cutter five-star hotel. His English was quite good, which made communication easy. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious—freshly made to order every morning. “A green oasis in a green town. We, a family of four, stayed at Lotus Villa for two nights and had a wonderful experience. This boutique hotel is centrally located, but still hidden away from the busy main street. The very green courtyard provides a wonderful backdrop for our breakfast. It is clean and most of all the staff is very accommodating and helpful. ”

“Such a lovely place to Stay. On south bank of river away from centre so super quiet. Bit of a problem until river works finish next month as no bamboo bridge. This normally makes 10 walk in to centre. At moment its 30 mins using the old bridge or a boat service that does save much time.. Great breakfast..Nice residental area.”
