“I’ve stayed in every large establishment in Fairbanks for decades and when I visit up North, I stay where you find the best and Sophie’s Station far surpasses the others hands down in comfort in restaurant and amenities. I’ve never had better accommodating staff. When you travel and want to enjoy as I do and you’re in Fairbanks Alaska look no further than Sophie’s Station. “In realtà non era un hotel ma un residence, per cui si soggiornava in un appartamento, ampio, ben arredato. Il residence era di 3 piani, senza ascensore, per cui non comodo per le valigie. Comunque l'unico vero punto dolente era la distanza dal centro del residence.”

“The room was large and clean. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The hotel was convenient to all the Fairbanks attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

“The TV never worked, internet was very weak and the staff didn’t do anything about it just continued to give excuses. The bathroom fixtures were loose and the toilet handle fell out every time went to flush the toilet. Nobody warned me that this hotel sits right at the landing approach for the airport so planes fly literally 200’ above you as they land. The one positive is that the mattress was very comfortable and the A/C worked. I will not be staying here again!”

“Camera piuttosto bella anche se alcune cose potrebbero essere migliorate come per esempio il letto forse troppo morbido e la zanzariera rotta che non è stata sistemata! Colazione discreta ma per gli standard europei forse un po' povera! Purtroppo la piccola spa non era disponibile perché in manutenzione! Nel complesso albergo molto bello e caratteristico un pò distante da downtown!”

“As weird as it sounds, the elevator efficiency was great. We never had to wait. They always keep an elevator on floors 1 and 3 so there is never a wait if you are on an upper floor. The hotel is conveniently located to a Walmart and 3 pizza places!”

“I spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay. The location by the river is beautiful and very peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was great, and I really enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay in Fairbanks.”

“The place was fine, the staff was excellent. But the only reason I made the reservation was a belated Mother’s Day for my Mom and she wanted a pool and hot tub. So when it wasn’t working when we wanted to use it, we were very disappointed . I know these things can’t be helped usually but it would’ve been nice to have been offered a discount or refund d so we could’ve gone somewhere else.
