“We booked their most expensive room and they tried to put us in a terrible room, just threw up their hands and said Expedia messed up. Did not seem concerned in the least, nor surprised. We left because the room was nasty, they said we need to call Expedia for a refund, which of course Expedia denied, so they suck too.”

“The property is getting a little tired and the furniture and fixtures could use some upgrades, along with the coffee in the lobby. We checked in on a Wednesday and tried to get a room on the second floor but for some reason none were available and the hotel didn't seem that full. The ceilings are a little thin and we could definitely hear our heavy-footed upstairs neighbors on Thursday night and Friday morning. They did let us trade our gifted white wine for a red and our stay was otherwise...

“Family-run hotel. Very nice people, and very accommodating. I see from some reviews that picky folk might be bothered that the decor is not the latest, and the tv is CRT instead of flatscreen, but the basics are there: clean room, comfortable bed, etc. And while they didn't provide breakfast on-site, with the money we saved by staying here, we got a great breakfast nearby at Schat's Bakery (down the street, and another one in the Friedman's Home Improvement store). There are some nice choices...

“The property was fantastic. The ocean view from our room was amazing. We enjoyed the hiking trails and the spectacular views! The food was good and the bar staff were friendly. A larger bar would be nice , but the ability to order a drink and take or to a different location nearby the bar with spectacular views makes up for a smaller bar.”
