“Better than expected because they have refurbished since the property photos were taken. Basic room but clean and comfy. Stunning view of the waterfalls from our window. Bathroom door handle was loose and squeaky.”

We got a message offering fresh local breakfast, We signed in advance, however we were informed they have not opened this service for the season and was an automatic message.”

“I needed to sleep a night close to Flam and decided to take the touristic train and stay here on my way to Oslo. Beautiful hotel surrounded by mountains. Quiet, peaceful. Just beautiful. They have a restaurant which offered a delicious buffet. Very impressed. Definitely a spot for someone looking for tranquility. There is a trail too that can take you all the way to Flam. From here you can take the train to Myrdal station (1 stop only 3 minutes) and change trains to Oslo. Very easy!”

“Very nice and comfortable building, but poor and disorganized breakfast. Around the hotel there is almost nothing to do in summer and also restaurants lack. Room services not at the top.”
