STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Our first room had multiple cockroaches crawling away from the front door when we opened it. Went to tell the front desk, the assistant GM was very unconcerned. We had to ask for another room. The second room was worse. There was no water in the toilet, it couldn't even flush. Mold on the back of the door and inside the plastic pocket that holds promotion information on it. There were multiple large dark stains on the carpet in the room, and more bugs in the bathroom. What was worst of all was the customer service the assistant GM had during it all. When we brought our stuff back downstairs, I had to wait at the front desk for 4 minutes within 2 feet of the guy while he ignored me and decided to look busy doing something. Finally had him acknowledge me and then tell me he couldn't cancel. Then it was that he could only cancel the second night but had to pay for one of the nights. Absolutely not. We had to fight to get him to cancel it and not once during this ordeal did he at all apologize for any inconvenience or acknowledge any of the issues we had in those rooms. We're currently working to get our money back. The only positive we had from here was being taken care of by Paul (not the AGM, but was the other staff when we checked in), he was great and so friendly. We appreciated Paul a lot.

Definitely needs to be updated. Water came out like orange and I was told it was because the rooms hadn’t been used in a while…but if this is a typical issue, they should run the water before people come in. Some of the Pillowcases also looked dirty. Wasn’t expecting the Ritz but also expected better.

Nice quiet stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. The upgrades were nice my bed was a little squeaky my wife’s were very quiet. The hotel was very quiet all most all of the time. The TV service could have been better. I couldn’t find a lot of my favorite show I usually watch when we are at your Hotel. The breakfast bar is just so so. If you didn’t get down right at 6:00 your choices were limited. Overall it was a very nice stay. The guy that checked us in was very nice and helpful. Very close to the Gulf State Park. Spent a lot of time there. We would stay there again.

The motel was in a great location. Walkable to the beach and great path nearby. Employees were very nice and helpful. I liked the microwave and the refridgerator. TV was a nice size. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The negatives are: It is an old motel. Very dated. All the flooring in our room needed replacing. The toliet constantly ran and at one point wouldn't flush anything down. I asked the front desk for a plunger, which was finally found and brought to our room. My husband unclogged the toliet. I had to request towel replacement and trash removal (which was efficiently done). For the price, it was adequate. You get what you pay for.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The Hotel was clean along with the rooms. It was extremely close to the beach. The parking was excellent the setting was quiet. we really enjoyed out stay. We had stayed there a few years ago and the conditions were totally opposite of what I described above, I understand that there is new ownership which made all of the difference in the world. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

I switched rooms twice. In the first room the vanity light blinked continuously and the second room was very musty smelling. The front desk person (Ash) was very nice about us switching rooms twice. The hotel was clean and quiet.

I'd look elsewhere first..
First the pipes were just worked on so the water was brown most the first night as well as the toilet. Toilet only half way flushes so that took a couple of tries. Then sometime Saturday the cable went out completely. Luckily I was leaving early Sunday and it still was not working. After all that I decided not to try anything else. For nearly $400 I expected better than that

Staff is absolutely amazing… property is a dump. Shower bathroom area is so old and ratchet. I’ve seen better conditions in a homeless camp. Only stayed one night. Would’ve slept in my car but it was sooo hot outside. The AC was the only good thing about the property. Cold!!! Would never ever recommend.

The fire alarm went off multiple times in the early morning hours while we were trying to sleep. It apparently happened frequently because the firemen were not amused.

Room was in rough shape. Had a strong smell of mold. The lights would flicker a lot. And toilet randomly overflowed. Our sheet also had a large stain.

Location was convenient to the beach. Hotel was off the parkway and away from any traffic and noise. Staff was ok but usually no one was behind desk the many times we came through. Room was good and as advertised. Overall pleased with stay.

Had to change rooms twice. First room’s door didn’t close at all. Second room as full of roaches. Manager was very rude and would not offer partial refund. Will never be back

Fabulous stay
All the employees were very kind and the breakfast was excellent. Nice rooms for comfort and quiet. Only 1 mile from beach.
