Gunnislake station, a short drive up the hill, runs direct to Plymouth on the scenic Tamar Valley Line. It suits couples, families and dog owners wanting outdoor pursuits, with Dartmoor and Tavistock close by and a spectacular valley view.

- Private terraced garden: a lower seating area with firepit, table and chairs, and a viewing platform with further seating up steps (logs available from the owner for an extra charge).
- Private gated drive with ample parking.
- Open-plan ground floor with lounge, smart TV, sofas and dining area with an office desk if required.
- Well-equipped kitchen: oven and hob, large fridge freezer, air fryer, built-in microwave, dishwasher.
- Washing machine, plus iron and ironing board.
- Dog-friendly: up to 2 well-behaved dogs, with an outdoor dog wash area and towels; dog sitting can be booked for the day when hosts are available.

- Dartmoor: approx 10 minute drive, for walking, cycling and outdoor pursuits
- National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth: about a 25 to 30 minute drive, with boat excursions from Plymouth Harbour
