“Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby.
The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower.
Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. You had to drive under 5 mph to try to retain the floor of your car. The second was...

We had a terrible dining experience. Starter ok - We waited one hour for our mains. My salmon served on a bed of rice was so dried out it was inedible. Looked like it had been left under the heat lamp for ages. Crispy and very dry. You could lift the whole dish up in one go - horrible. “I arrived at the hotel very late night and tired, and I had to wake up early for my 8:00 a.m. flight. While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly.
