The ladder of the bunker bed is made of thin metal bars, therefore it is hard and dangerous to climb up and down. Finally if a bath tub is available, it will be much better. “The staff and the beautiful history and architecture of the hotel are a pleasure. Location for walking from deep in the West end of Vancouver shops, cafes and restaurants is spot on. “A good hotel in a strategic area, but services can be improved, considering it's a four-star hotel. Coffee machines on the ground floor often don't work. I was surprised not to find toiletries in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom was not well cleaned the day after shampooing, and several hairs were left in the bathtub. So disappointing, considering the price of the room! ”

“Great location ”

“We were in an executive suite. The room was spacious, and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was ok. However, the kitchen utensils were very dirty, and I was surprised that the balcony had not been equipped with spikes or something else to keep away the great number of pigeons swarming about. The breakfast was ok, but the coffee finished very early, and no more was brought. The setup was weird, because you had to bring down your own tray and cups, get food, and go eat it in your room.
