“We love our room it’s big, clean and we have a private outdoor hot springs onsen. Our room is situated at the corner surrounded by a big garden with Sakura trees and a koi pond. The Japanese breakfast is a free service offered by the ryokan. It’s simple but filling. The ryokan is only 10 minutes walk from the Cherry Blossom festival and 20 minutes walk from Kawazu station. ”

“The staff was friendly, and although the hotel was a bit old, it was clean and well-maintained, so there were no inconveniences. The ocean view from the room and open-air hot spring in the large public bath was truly wonderful. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was extremely slow, but overall, it was an accommodation I would love to visit again.”

“This resort was one of the best parts of our trip to Japan. Coming from the USA, we wanted to enjoy a traditional accommodation. This resort had everything we were looking for: Japanese style room, bedrock sauna, private onsen bath, gendered public onsen bath and an onsen pool. “I was a bit worried leading up to the trip about how to get there but they had some pretty good instructions on their website. They have a free shuttle that comes to the Shuzenji station about every hour or 2 (timetable is on their site) so all you need to worry about it getting to Shuzenji station which you can figure out using Google Maps.
