Posizione perfetta!
Accedi a casa, all'estremità settentrionale del Lago Grande Sacandaga. Combinazione perfetta di tranquillità / isolamento con accesso a Saratoga Springs a soli 20 miglia di distanza. I 172 piedi di lungomare si trovano in una calma e tranquilla (ma non stagnante) baia che viene utilizzata solo dai residenti della baia. Le 3 camere da letto sono configurate come suite (perfette per tenere una famiglia completa), ognuna con il proprio bagno (ogni camera ha una letto piattaforma completa o regina PLUS un doppio letto a castello). C'è un ulteriore bagno completo nel seminterrato incompiuto. Il salotto esterno funge anche da potenziali camere da letto aggiuntive e ha anche un divano letto nuovo con estremità di trundle. Ogni camera dispone di una TV a schermo piatto e la casa è dotata di cavo Time Warner e internet. Il servizio Verizon Wireless esiste nell'area immediata della casa. Le comodità includono una lavatrice e asciugatrice al piano principale. Non è permesso fumare all'interno della casa. Purtroppo, non possiamo ospitare animali di qualsiasi tipo a causa di allergie a casa.
Abbiamo appena aggiunto l'aria condizionata centrale e un ponte nuovo di zecca dal solarium.

Peaceful lake retreat

This property was perfect! Beautiful and well maintained. Spotlessly clean! Be aware of a couple things, the walk between the house and lake is a descent hill, I was definitely in better shape by the end of the week but would be hard for older people. Also the cell booster wasn’t working so when we got there I didn’t have service to access my account on VRBO to get the check in information, make sure you have that information accessible before arrival and the Wi-Fi network name was not accurate in the information provided. Overall everything was great though, just a little blip with checking in! Such a relaxing spot on the lake, the peddle kayak was really cool to have and goes really fast. We really enjoyed our trip!

Peace and quiet in a lovely setting!

I returned to the Great Sacandaga after a hiatus of nearly 25 years. This time brought my kids and grandchildren. The log cabin was a relaxing and wonderful place to stay. It is situated on a little cove which protected us from the wind and choppy waters on the lake. The dock availability was perfect! The house had plenty of room for all to enjoy. If you choose to stay here, bring your own towels! The propane grill is a flat top griddle as the regular part is rusty and falling apart and not useable. Despite some minor flaws, we would stay here again!

Great trip again

This is our 2nd year at this rental and it was a great week. The house comfortably fits all of us and the lake/dock area is an awesome place to hang out all day. John is a great host and is easy to get a hold of and keeps you updated.

This is our third year staying at this lake house. We love it! It’s clean, the dock and lake are awesome and it’s so peaceful! It’s very relaxing, I highly recommend staying here!

Loved It!

My wife and I have a cabin 2 miles from this place and we had three of our grown children and their families visit at the same time. Since our place is too small to accommodate this group, I looked for lodging close by. John's log cabin worked out fantastic and ALL had a wonderful time fishing, swimming, and boating from the dock, and sitting by the fire lakeside in the evenings. They also enjoyed the view from the front porch and the overall ambience of the place. Thank you.

Best place ever!

Been staying at this house since 2017 great time every single time we go. Lake is right there for you to enjoy. John is a great host there anytime you need to answer all your questions. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent location, very relaxing stay.

This the second year we've stayed at this property during the summer, and it's a wonderful place to vacation! The location is remote, but only half an hour from Lake George. I highly recommend staying at this lake house.

Great family vacation

This was our first time staying at the house and it exceeded our expectations. The house was gorgeous and there was plenty of space for our large family of 12. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds downstairs and the adults were all able to have their own rooms at night. We loved spending time on the large dock that sat in a nice quiet part of the lake that was just a short walk across the street. John was great to work with! He kept us updated with a hot water repair that were needed prior to our stay and was ready with a backup plan if the repairs weren’t completed by the time we got there (they were!). He was quick with responding to any questions that we had and helped coordinate a location for us to launch our jet skis nearby. We spent our entire week down by the water and enjoyed the large fire pit area at night. We lost power one night and were thankful for the backup generator which kicked in automatically. We have already started to discuss planning another family vacation here for next summer!

Family vacay

Perfect home for a family reunion of 12 people. Short walk to large dock on a lovely, quiet part of the lake. John the host, was always available to answer questions and we were thankful for the backup generator which automatically took over when a storm knocked out the electricity, allowing the fun to continue. Would love to go again!

Beautiful!!

The place is gorgeous. Unobstructed view of the water from the many large windows in the front of house. So big, yet such a cozy feel. John responded immediately for any questions I had. I rented with a couple of friends fto go to 2 concerts nearby. I'm definately going to renting it again with my family just to stay at the property and enjoy the peaceful home, the lake, boats and firepit. So much to do and so comfy,. Highly recommended! Great 2nd Stay

This was our second stay here and it worked out great. Lot's of beds, great cabin feel, it was clean and didn't have any issues. The lake is beautiful and it's fairly close to a couple towns if you need to grab anything. Definitely recommended.

Perfect Spot!

Great location with easy direct water access. Nice quiet location in cove. House is beautiful and immaculate. Views are spectacular. Home is well appointed and John was a terrific host. Will definitely look to return.

Great cabin with a nice lakefront area

We had a great stay at this cabin. It is well kept and very comfortable with A/C. Close enough for nice day trips to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. We brought our own kayaks, swam, used the fire pit and had nice family game nights around the large dining room table. We would gladly stay here again. The owner John was easy to reach with any questions or concerns that we had.

Beautiful spacious clean house

Breath taking view of lake each morning. Enjoyed fireplace and or fire pit by lake each night. Just breath taking time of year for walks, trails, and parks. The fall colors were vibrant. Excellent place for peace and quiet. The views are just absolutely beautiful and serene Owner very accommodating and helpful.. Thanks to John we were able to get the fireplace going.

Great Experience

I stayed here for almost a week with a group of 4 other friends. The check-in process once we arrived was as easy as unlocking the lock box. The house itself was very clean and well stocked and there was more than enough room for 5 of us (this place could easily fit more than double that). The lake access is across the street but it is not busy so super easy to walk across the street and down the short walkway. Plenty of parking for for 5+ cars. From the house, you are within an hour of Saratoga Springs and St. George, which we visited both of throughout the week. The owner checked in with us about half way through the stay to make sure everything was going well. Finally, I'd like to point out that this property has a backup generator, which was used during our stay as a storm swept through the area. It worked great and allowed us to continue our board game without having to sit in the dark, so that was a huge bonus. Overall, I don't think we could have asked for much else.
