“we wanted to be able to spend some time near the ocean. This is a small place but an easy walk to Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay. A nice, quiet backyard. We enjoyed eating dinner there. A good place for a couple or perhaps a small family. A tiny but excellent shower. I would be happy to rent this place again.”

The accommodation was good, bathroom small and sink tiny but the kitchen sink was large so my husband and I used that! Only thing lacking was no wardrobe or closet for hanging clothes, only 1 hook in the bedroom, but we managed and did like the space and cottage feel! “A perfect get away for you and your spouse. This home has everything you need to escape reality. We loved watching the sunset in the hot tub and climbing the hill in the morning to watch the sun rise and fog roll over the hills. The home was very clean and well thought out to make your stay easy. My only suggestion would be better seating inside for cold or rainy days. “1. Trouble accessing lockbox. Owner was available to talk me thru it. More instructions needed, as not all lockboxes work the same way 2. No heat! With 40’s temp, I was very cold and the heater did not work. After another phone call to the owner, discovered fuse for unit had been turned off. 3. Coffee makers but no coffee!”

“Tucked away behind the privacy fence, the entryway leads through an herb garden in BBQ heaven. The space is clean & well lit, inviting with simple comforts. Mini fridge and a quick heating hot pot was all I needed kitchen-wise but if you want to cook a meal, look elsewhere. Great hot shower, comfortable bed and WiFi everywhere. Easy Uber pick up and plenty of dining options two blocks away on Geary. Definitely recommend and will try to stay again in future.”
