    Discover tranquility at our beautiful 3 bedroom cabin in Halfmoon Bay, Sunshine Coast. This peaceful retreat offers stunning ocean views, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. Enjoy beach access, a BBQ grill, and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a relaxing escape and reconnecting with nature. In a Large Cabin that has TWO suites in it (upper and lower... this is the upper suite). Yard is shared but all other spaces are private. lower suite is pet friendly. upper is pet free.



    The Space:

    Step inside this stunning oceanfront cabin and discover a thoughtfully designed space perfect for your coastal getaway. The cabin features three comfortable bedrooms. The first bedroom offers a luxurious king-size bed, providing a tranquil retreat. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, ideal for couples or individuals. The third bedroom provides single beds, perfect for children or individual guests. There are two full bathrooms, ensuring convenience for all guests. The open-plan living area is centered around a cozy sofa bed and a TV, creating a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the stunning ocean views. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, perfect for enjoying meals together. Outside, you'll find an inviting exterior space, complete with a BBQ grill and fire pit, ideal for outdoor cooking and gatherings. The cabin also offers convenient amenities such as air conditioning in the bedrooms, a washer/dryer, and wireless internet, ensuring a comfortable and connected stay. With beach access just steps away, you can easily enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and the beauty of the Halfmoon Bay coastline.

The house itself was in a beautiful location and had a great view. It also was clean except for the garbage room below the house. It had many bags of trash that hadn't been disposed of which attracted flys and odor. The location was close to Half Moon Bay store, which was great! A little more work and this could be a five star accommodation. The Ai agent, used for communication, needs some work.

As soon as we arrived, we noted the following:•Bedroom windows screwed shut: apparently so the air conditioning unit window insert isn’t moved, however, this is a serious safety concern and would not allow window egress even though there was an escape ladder. •Deck-door injury hazard: The deck access door has a piece of wood screwed onto to door jamb (at the door knob location). The screws caused two of us to scratch our knuckles quite badly. •Dirty dishes, utensils and garbage container: We were told the property was professionally cleaned; however, we found numerous utensils and dishes that were caked with dried food, and the garbage can was unsanitary and stained with dried food. We had to wash everything prior to dinner the night we arrived •Dirty BBQs and Oven: Both BBQ’s on the upper deck were dirty and unusable. The Oven was filthy even though they claimed it was professionally cleaned•Inadequate supplies and linensoOnly 1 roll of toilet paper provided (for 4 people for 5 nights)oNo paper towelsoNo garbage bags (in any of the garbage cans)oVery little coffee (they mentioned coffee was supplied)oOnly 1 hand towel and 1 facecloth to be shared by 4 people (there were bath towels), 2 "dishcloths” were tattered rags - towels smelled very musty & grossWe were told how to obtain more toilet paper the first night, but had to wait 2 days for extra hand towels and facecloths. Although the home was spacious and the location great, we will not go back

I am disappointed to share a negative review because there is so much potential for this accommodation which is nestled into a cute cove in Halfmoon Bay. There were three main concerns: 1. Poor Communication The host often took hours to reply, and at one point didn’t reply at all. This was incredibly frustrating when I informed him that the fire alarm was set off after attempting to preheat the oven and make a frozen pizza due to it being so dirty. The host said they paid for a deep clean and assumed that I burnt the pizza (which was never made).2. Not cleanIn addition to the oven, it was clear that the accommodation was not deep cleaned based on the dead bugs in windowsills, living spider and web in the bathroom, and general hair/mess. 3. Does not match listing There is no garage as listed. Instead, there is another unit that you may have to share/coordinate the parking spot with. Additionally, the yard is not kept making the patio space very buggy and uncomfortable to enjoy the seating area which certainly has potential. I wish I could share a more positive review, and would have been much more satisfied with better communication.
