(One of the most photographed historic street scapes in Canada seen in publications featuring Halifax). Steps away from the waterfront board walk, shops, markets and some of the best dinning experiences in the city, the location cant be beat. Large south facing windows give great street views and a bright sunny space.

The rental was very convenient to everything that we wanted or needed. It was very spacious and we liked the character of the unit. The parking was a big bonus and easy to negotiate. Nice coffee shop right out side of the door.

I loved the restored historic apartment complete with original doors and bedroom floor as well as claw foot tub/shower and exposed brick. Very spacious and beautifully decorated. Timely communication with host including attention to requests. Excellent walkable location to restaurants and attractions.The staircase while grand made luggage lifting necessary.photos on listing not updated.

The room was quite clean, parking was behind the property and there was shops and restaurants nearby. The one downside of the unit for people our age was the fact that the washroom and bedroom were down a set of stairs within the unit which was not drawn to our attention. Also a railing needs to be installed to those stairs.

We had a great stay. Well appointed apartment in an amazing location. Tristan and Lane were very quick to respond to any questions that we had. We would definitely book with them again.

The Place was as clean as it could be for the age any needs were met quickly the size of the place excellent the bed a bit small for me i like and thought it was a king but it was a queen comfortable but a bit small for a larger person. other than that we had a excellent stay and do recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the proximity to the harbour and restaurants. Lane was very responsive the one time we had a question. There was no corkscrew or dish towel (we left one), which is just an fyi if you want to enjoy a bottle of wine or use some dishes. No need lose stars for that.

Perfect walking location, loved the included parking spot around the back. Great communication from host, easy check-in omand out. Appreciated the coffee and simple kitchen items, but we loved the coffee shop two doors down. Stayed with our 15month old daughter and loved that the doors didn't creak, lol! Comfortable, high bed, however, we were happy we brought eyemasks since the bedroom curtains did very little to keep the light out. We'd gladly return.

Inwi start by saying the location is wonderful and very close to downtown amenities. The check in process was smooth and we had an issue with the bathroom door not closing which was looked after promptly that day. We had issues with the bed as it is on wheels with no headboard and moves constantly when two people are in it, it also sinks in the middle and the pillows provided are very high and hard. We informed the owner we had to leave a day early due to the bed and lack of sleep and comfort and we ended up staying at the Westin hotel for the same price, the owner agreed to provide a refund for the one nigh but never did. The floor was very dirty outside of the bathroom and there were crumbs in the large cracks in the boards with no vacuum, broom or cleaning supplies available to use for us to clean. The shower head in the tub is also held together with the duct tape.

First of all, this is a superb location for a visit to Halifax & the water front. On-site parking was great. We were surprised on arrival, however, to find this was a 2nd floor apartment with a long climb up stairs. I reviewed the property description again but still can't find anything saying it is 2nd floor. The impression on entering the stairwell area is very negative with a stale musty odor and dirty worn carpeting. The living room & kitchen area of the apartment were ok, but the bathroom is in serious need of upgrade. The shower is in an old claw foot tub surrounded on all sides by plastic and is very hard to use. The shower curtain rod is held up to the ceiling by chains. Part of the shower nozzle pipe is duct taped to the rod. The bed was comfortable but the wood flooring is very old (original?) and in bad shape to the point that you wonder if it is actually clean. I understand this is an historic property but I surely these things could be improved greatly. Because of the 2nd floor and bathroom situation, we would not return here again.

Property requires some upkeep and work, bathroom in particular; shower curtain rod is duck taped together and help up by a chain that is screwed into the wall, with the screw falling out. We stayed there 3 days and only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper supplied.Unfortunately the location is on a major truck route that commences at 6:30am with transport trucks rumbling by with containers headed for the port. Directly outside the living room window is an LED white street light, that shines directly into the bedroom and the bed - room darkening shades would probably help.

The place was amazing, a hidden gem. Having the luxury of free overnight parking was priceless. From the truck to the spot was mere feet to the back deck. The location is ideal for business travel and alike. This place brings you back to the old Victorian design with excellent natural light and high ceilings. This is the number one pick of the litter:))
