“Bellissima stanza (cab doppia vista mare) ben pulita e spaziosa, gli accessori nel bagno avranno qualche anno, quindi un po' logori dalla salsedine, ma non lo vedo un problema, sempre ben pulito. Personale sempre sorridente e di compagnia Cibo; devo dire di alta qualità, da Italiano, faccio i complimenti (l'unica cosa che non ho provato è stata la pasta...) con tantissima scelta e menù a tema ogni sera. tutto praticamente cotto al momento. “We really liked this hotel. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The location was nice and quiet, not far from public and private beaches (Nyali and Mombasa beaches.) Shopping was nearby. ”

“Totally decadent, rooms are extremely noisy, slamming the doors all night through because the doors can close easily, total nightmare at night if you care of resting. Decadent room with a shower not even working properly.”

“There are no elevators so you walk up the stairs with your luggage. There is no shower head, only a handheld shower with the thinnest of water to shower with. Breakfast was…. very regular at 1-star level. It’s not worth the cost! ”

“As expected given the price this is far from an upmarket area. The rooms were small but clean. Initially I was given a not very nice room with an ensuite that was more like an alcove with no shower but was fortunately moved to a better one. We had to navigate building works to get into the property and then walk on a raised wooden walkway. The place was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful”

After 2 hours of the host asking us to wait in the dark, I decided to leave and check into another hotel. The whole time I was in the dark, the host kept reassuring me, the power would come back on. “Booked and paid through expedia, made 9 calls to the host without a response while waiting outside the apartments..An hour later, the host called me to say the apartment was double booked...Taken me a few days for my money to be returned. Expedia should ban such hosts that are fraudulent ...This is typical behaviour of hosts in Mombasa who are ruining the tourism industry in the area..”

“First it is not a hotel but studios. The amenenities are very old, the wall paper was peeling and the neighbourhood feels very insecure for a woman travelling alone. It is 1 km from the beach. There was a lot of noise in the corridors from the other occupants very early in the morning. Overall not the best option for solo travellers”
