Lovely hotel!
Great location for train station and race course, great wee hotel, very clean and tidy, Owners were very friendly and helpful. Used the restaurant for lunch and the service was also great here, we were able to sit in the outside seating area in the afternoon to enjoy the sunshine.

One night business trip.
A great little hotel, with service through the roof! Ideally situated for out of town travellers (two blocks away from the train station) and fantastic service. Couldn't have wished for a better place to get some shut eye.

The hotel is in a convenient location, and offers good value. The bedroom was a little tired - for example the headboard was squint - and there was mould in the bathroom. Decent for an overnight stopoff if you need somewhere to stay in Hamilton.

Fine. A bit of manoeuvring was required to park round the back since the front was overful. The tap was disconcertingly loose and breakfast was cold only and a bit over carbohydrated and low in fruit. It was very comfortable and friendly.

Handy for railway station
The hotel is very handy if you're arriving at Hamilton West railway station as it is only 2 or 3 minutes walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable and the rate was very reasonable and included a nice breakfast.

Excellent value for money
We had a very warm welcome, room was excellent and breakfast was more than adequate. As we had a ferry to catch, we had to leave straight after breakfast but hope to return soon.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, easy to get to from M74, there was a lot of refurbishment going on but this will obviously improve the property

The Owner and the staff were helpful and pleasant.They all went the extra mile to be helpful.The barman in the evening was very nice and chatty.Thecontinental breakfast was really pleasing..we would stay there again if we were in the area.Was definitely value for the money.

The staff were excellent could not fault them. Only downside was a continental breakfast would have paid more more for a cooked breakfast not a lot of choice. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Short 2 night stay
Fantastic staff very welcoming and pleasant. Rooms were ok. Very hot and a bit worried about leaving window open as on ground floor next to path. The radiator in the bathroom needs a good paint otherwise decor is ok.Found the bed to be uncomfortable as every time one of us turned over the springs could be heard and felt. Continental breakfast was good. Didn’t miss a cooked breakfast.Drinks from the bar were very cheap.

Staff really nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast had all we required. Very clean rooms and fresh linen each day. But Hotel sadly in need of refurbishment. But enjoyed our short time there and would probably use Hotel again.

Pleasant but not so hospitable
Lovely hotel and staff...Couldn't take advantage of the Continental breakfast as checked out before started and hotelier wouldn't allow me to take a pack up out, which i dont understand as if i stayed longer i would of had my share

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Room.on 1st floor with nice view in the distance. Room small but with good facilities. Tv on wall very small. Carpets badly stained. Beds comfy and clean. Great breakfast.

Handy for what I had to do.
I was attending a funeral and only needed a bed for the night. The hotel provided what I needed without any fuss or flourish. It was acceptable accommodation at a very good special rate. I would need a longer stay to make a proper assessment.

Very friendly and ideal for a flying visit
Fantastic little hotel - everyone I met there was very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast, taxi service and cosy room. The mattress isn't the most comfortable but I slept well enough so can't complain!

Clean comfy but hairdryer would be nice
Very comfortable and clean room. I was staying to run a race nearby so only had toast for breakfast. Never seemed to be much staff about and only chef on premises at 8am when I looked for a hairdryer. When he got me one it clicked off after a minute!
