“I went there for 4 days during my honeymoon. The staff was great and helped us a lot. Around the hotel there's a lot of restaurants, but you can also have dinner at theirs, it's really good. It's nice they have also a self laundry, very important for us who were travelling for a lot of days. “After a very long drive, the peace & quiet of Manor Views was very much appreciated. Our room had a deck with outdoor furniture & long distance views over the lakes & hills. We were greeted on arrival & shown to our room by our host who gave us a run through of the room & secuity. The room was clean & cosy with everything we needed including a very comfy bed. “Our host, Maria, was a delight. We came to the property late after Hobbiton due to a cancelled flight. No time to get a SIM card at the Auckland Airport so I missed her messages about leaving a key for us. She was so gracious when I knocked on her door and helped us get settled in. Let us some animal feed to give the animals at our leisure. Lovely to talk to and the master bed was so comfortable! Would book here again!”
