“Overall, we had a good stay at Atrium Hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The biggest disappointment, however, was the cedar spa. I specifically booked this room because it had a cedar spa, as I had spent the entire day dancing at an event and was really looking forward to a hot soak to ease my sore muscles. “The room was very neglected & needs completely refurbishing. The springs could be felt through the sheets on the double bed mattress. The fridge freezer was noisy & in the bedroom area. All the paintwork was chipped & worn & the bathroom vanity stained & old. Flooring in the bathroom was marked, dirty & lifting in places. I've stayed in many places & thought this was very overpriced for the conditions. It looks like the room has never been redecorated since the motel was built. ”

I have travelled extensively internationally & throughout New Zealand - this is the first hotel I have stayed at where there is no standard access to local channels. Most of the Samsung channels provided are meaningless and not worth viewing - I find such a setup to be convoluted & not customer friendly.”

“I went there for 4 days during my honeymoon. The staff was great and helped us a lot. Around the hotel there's a lot of restaurants, but you can also have dinner at theirs, it's really good. It's nice they have also a self laundry, very important for us who were travelling for a lot of days. “A bit of a miss for me. The reservation/reception staff and valet parking staff were excellent. I travelled with 8 year old and they engaged her and made her feel important which was great as it was a birthday treat for her. The room a little bit over crowded with big furniture. The bathroom a little disappointed.
