    Lake Forest Lodge ha una vista mozzafiato sul lago Keuka ed è adagiato su 3,5 acri di pini e latifoglie. Questa proprietà ha il meglio dei due mondi in quanto ha anche una facciata sul lago. La cabina ha 3 livelli: il piano principale ha una grande sala con camino a gas, accogliente cucina abitabile e spaziosa sala da pranzo che può ospitare comodamente 10 persone. Queste camere si affacciano sul lago e vantano un'incredibile vista sul lago Keuka. Al livello principale si trovano anche 2 camere da letto e 1,5 bagni. Il livello inferiore comprende un'area salotto con divano letto a una piazza e mezza, una camera da letto, un bagno completo, lavatrice e asciugatrice. Il soppalco aperto al terzo piano ha un affascinante letto a graticcio. Ci sono molti grandi ponti per il relax e la raccolta per i pasti con la famiglia e gli amici in un ambiente privato. LFL si trova sul pendio di una collina di fronte al lago, che offre un ambiente appartato e tranquillo. Nota: si accede alla facciata del lago camminando o guidando lungo il nostro vialetto 'ripido', attraversando la strada e proseguendo lungo il vialetto comune / ripido dove abbiamo a disposizione 2 posti auto. Circa 50 scale vi condurranno al ponte panoramico e al molo privato.

Our Cajun Ladies had a wonderful stay. The Finger Lakes are beautiful. The house accommodated us and we so enjoyed being on the deck with the majestic views.

The property was in a beautiful spot. Drive way a little steep, which we knew from listing but we had no problems getting up and down. We found it easy to get anywhere in the area from the cabin. We particularly enjoyed the deck with the lake view. It was a lovely spot for a glass of wine after a day of exploring. This was a girl’s trip, so a glass of wine and good conversation were always a way to wind down afterwards. Thanks to the owner for a great place to stay and a bottle of wine!!!!

The house is amazing laid out very nicely for two families, multiple bathrooms made it perfect for getting ready to go out, the deck is huge, played cornhole, cooked and hung out and not felt cramped, very clean house, no issues, wifi was great, would recommend, and hope to stay there again next year.

Family Vacation

House has great gathering areas for family. Kitchen was well equipped. The lake is beautiful and very clean. However, the house only has two actual bedrooms. (Main level and one in the basement.) The main level has one BIG bedroom (king bed) and one small bedroom with a full size bed, is just larger then a closet with a bi-fold door and not much privacy. The loft space above the main level never gets cool and the basement bedroom is small, always cold, and the bed was broken and very wobbly. The large deck was great for family but it was pretty dirty. There is very little outdoor lighting on the main deck and none on the side deck. The driveway has some outdoor lights but we could not find the switch all week. The gas grill was filthy and took a lot of scraping to be able to use it. The burners barely lit due to all the debris clogging the holes. Lake access is not fun. The house driveway is gravel and VERY steep and winding. There is another steep driveway across the street and then the stairs. Parking a car down by the stairs is very difficult. We didn't bother. Dock has screws sticking up and the kayaks were dirty.

Not lakefront

Definitely not a lake front property. Lake access and dock was down the awful driveway, across a road and down another driveway…then down stairs that were messy and overgrown by bushes. The dock needed care. Nails sticking up, kayaks were extremely dirty and a mouse was in one of them. It was a lot with 3 younger children. The inside of the house was clean but the deck was messy and could use a power wash along with patio furniture. Weeds were overgrown everywhere, including fire pit. Porch roof leaked. The upstairs loft bedroom was extremely hot even with the ac on. The living room and skeeball were great. The bathroom had a problem but it was fixed quickly. The grill was missing steel heat plates, so you had to put foil down or everything would catch on fire.

Perfect girls getaway

My friends and I had a lovely time at this cabin. The dock was great to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. The house is big enough for everyone to have their own space.

We stayed for a long weekend on the lake for a bachelorette trip. Loved the lake access, the large windows, and the ski ball machine! The house was super cozy and air conditioning was very easy to control. We used each bed and everyone had a great stay. Smart TVs were very nice to have as well. The driveway was very steep, tough to pull car up or walk up with the potholes, but wouldn’t stop me from staying here. Great views of the lake and the porch furniture was perfect for dinners outside. Overall, we would stay here again if visiting the area!

Awesome bachelorette weekend

Booked this place for a bachelorette party since it had a lot of rooms, a good location, and a reasonable price. The cabin was charming and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with coffee machine, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. The location was convenient - close to the village of Hammondsport and a lot of wineries. Beware, the driveway is very steep. The cabin is not directly on the water but across the street. There was dock access with kayaks that we definitely would have used if the weather was nicer. Owner was communicative. He even left us a champagne bottle for our stay, which was super sweet!

Relax with perfect view

Wonderful long weekend relaxing, visiting wineries and enjoying spectacular views from the deck. Great house , comfortable, and well appointed. The owner was great to work with and was an excellent communicator.

Mixed bag

Although the host, Brian, was very pleasant and responsive, the property was far less than luxury. It did have a stellar lake view and large porch. Upon arrival there was obvious signs of mice in the living room including feces and bundles of hair. We cleaned up and Brian immediately made an appointment with an exterminator. A few days later, mice feces on the counter and dining table, our 4 year old daughter picked up a dead mouse which was in the play/toy area surrounded in blood. We informed Brian and he agreed to refund us for the portion of our trip that we chose not to stay.Even though our family vacation was cut short and overall ruined, I would have liked to seen more than a daily prorated refund but that is not what was provided.The great room was pretty cool and the kids LOVED the ski ball. Other than that, the condition of everything outside was in need of repair or cleaning. The grill was filled with grease and leaves from what appeared to be last season/winter. The main security gate on the deck would not close which made us a bit nervous with the little ones. The driveway to get up to the property is extremely steep and difficult to navigate by foot or in car. Lots of dangerous potholes. I do think that Brian is a pleasant host but the property does not live up to the standards as advertised. Maybe with a lot of attention to the property, it could be back to a desirable condition. Give it a chance after problems are all taken care of.

Excellent Lake View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was an almost perfect late fall weekend and just loved being able to watch the sunrise from the comfort of our living room. Everything was as stated in the description. Having a heavy duty crew cab pickup presented an interesting endeavor getting turned around 😆, the driveway was very steep and not a ton of room. I managed. Skee Ball was a huge hit. Didn’t explore the dock since it was the last weekend of October. Would definitely consider staying there in the future. The host, Brian, was very responsive to questions.

Beautiful Home with a Spectacular View

It was so relaxing. Getting up in the morning sitting on the deck to see the sunrise was spectacular. We all had some great family time. So much to do or just relax.

Wine weekend

House was gorgeous and very clean. The only part that was a problem was the driveway. It is very steep and with the rocks on it it made it difficult to drive up and down it. Other than that it was perfect for our stay.

Awesome Place!

We had a great time enjoying our yearly family get together here. This cabin is huge and has a ton of charm and character. Keuka lake is beautiful as always. Brian was diligent and provided all the info we needed to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous property, amazing family get away

We had such an amazing and relaxing week here (I say this while traveling with 3 teenagers) . The house had plenty of room and everything we needed. The property was absolutely gorgeous, very private and relaxing. There was plenty to do between the wineries (Bully Hill being our favorite and only 10 minutes away), kayaking, swimming and snorkeling (very clear waters), and hiking. The kids had great luck fishing right off the dock and really loved the skee ball machine. There was one day when it rained alot but we didn't mind because the huge living room comfortably fit us all for a movie day. Plus the rain made the waterfall on the property really come alive. Once the rain stopped, we sat on the deck watching and listening to it while eating dinner. The host, Brian, also checked in on us when the weather was bad that day and throughout the whole stay was always available for questions. We take a family vacation every year and I have to say this was one of our favorites... we have people from 15-80 years old and it had something for everyone to enjoy.
