Great Location - not so great apartment
Stayed here with family to enjoy the seafood festival. The place is in the basement of another home, in front of a much larger home, all owned by the same person. As soon as you got there, you could immediately tell what kind of house it was...party house!
We were supposed to have a parking spot, but the other houses had way too many cars and people. We managed to make it work, but had to box in others and get texts, notes and banging on doors/windows more than we were hoping for.
The home was not really clean and power did not work when we got there so fridge smelt awful, which forced us to buy a cooler the first day.
The other units were loud and they drank all day and all night. Luckily we were gone most of the time, but it was still very noticeable.
The backyard space was not something we could even really use. Overgrown weeds and trucks parked so close that we literally had to shuffle around it leaving the apartment.
The one upside was the owner. He was extremely responsive and a super cool dude! He got everything fixed right away and made sure we were happy with everything. I think the major turnoff was that this place was clearly party central and that’s not what we were looking for.
I’d probably look elsewhere in the future.
