Sulla costa nord di Kauai, nell'affascinante città di Hanalei, questa casa in stile piantagione hawaiana è molto confortevole e ha un cortile recintato ideale per le famiglie.

La sua posizione dall'altra parte della strada rispetto a un sentiero di accesso alla spiaggia lo rende una breve passeggiata per la spiaggia di Hanalei Bay a forma di mezzaluna. Questa spiaggia di sabbia bianca invita a fare piacevoli passeggiate lungo la riva e altre attività oceaniche e da spiaggia preferite. Sentiti libero di portare un pranzo al sacco e rilassati ai luoghi e ai suoni del surf.

Vacation in Hanalei

The property had everything we needed and it was close to restaurants and the beach. We walked everywhere which was easy. The house was clean, provided beach chairs, cooler, umbrella & beach towels. We would definitely book this house again!

Don’t Judge by its Cover

Driving up to the property hat has some cute and updated looking properties brings a bit of disappointment when you realize this is the house. But then you realize how close the beach path is, and that you can walk to town where the market and shops are. There are fixture updates, but the kitchen needs to be updated, too. But, again, if they do update, then this property may then be out of our budget. A great place overall.

Location Location Location!

This house is the best for Hanalei beach location. You walk across the street to the beach and you are in paradise. A short walk and you are in town. Great place for a family with everything you will need. We can not wait to come back. The perfect place for a relaxing week in paradise.

Charming Hanalei cottage

Great location and lovely cottage on serene grounds— wonderful stay steps to Hanalei bay and beach as well as town. We appreciated the eco conscious living, outdoor shower/ no shoe policy to keep the interior clean and fans/multiple windows to keep cool.

Wonderful home!

We had an amazing time staying at the Pauole house! It’s an adorable cottage with all the amenities you could possibly need (microwave, charcoal grill, washer/dryer, rice cooker, slow cooker, pots/pans, big bowls for mixing and even stuff for baking) Location CANNOT be beat, right across street from beach trail and less than 5 minute walk to town. House was very clean, beds were comfortable (4 beds in all - great for myself, my boyfriend & his kids as well as a family friend to all stay & sleep comfortably). Newer TV with cable & wi-fi was an excellent connection. Outdoor shower is great for after surfing & with hot water too! Checking in/out was very easy & good communication overall. Would definitely stay here again!! Mahalo for a wonderful & smooth island adventure :)

Great location, OK house

The best thing about this house was the location and the friendly and helpful staff at the rental co. The house is a few minutes walk to downtown Hanalei or the beach. It was good sized and comfy and generally clean, but for its price range, it was dated and somewhat worn out, with many things needing a new coat of paint, a good scrubbing, or maintenance. Sometimes running the microwave caused a breaker to trip. There’s no dishwasher, but the kitchen was decently equipped otherwise. The furniture was in good shape, the TV seemed new, and the Wi-Fi worked fine for Zoom and Netflix. They provided flashlights, beach stuff, a basic charcoal BBQ, and some supplies including TP, soap, detergent and paper towels - but we had to buy shampoo & conditioner, salt & pepper, and plastic wrap & foil (there was also no leftover sunblock or bug repellent). Inside it sometimes got fairly warm in the afternoons, but ventilation was good and it cooled off at night, and there were ceiling fans and a bunch of portable fans. The yard was large and fenced, the street outside sometimes was a little busy, but the neighbors were quiet (other than the wandering roosters). We accidentally locked ourselves out once, but we called the rental office and they got us back inside fast; we also called when we had those electric problems and they quickly told us where the breaker box was. Before check-in we had to pick up the keys at the rental office (and drop them off after check-out), and we didn’t have to start laundry before leaving.

Great - but needs improvement

My mistake, missed that this house didn't have A/C. It became uncomfortable in afternoons, but OK otherwise. They need to install at least a mini-split in the public areas for during the day. The house was in need of updates, for the price point, they should start to renovate bits at a time. No evidence of update activity. On to the good... We normally stay in more remote Ha'ena home rentals on the water, but none were available. We went for something in town in Hanalei bay and this was the PERFECT spot for staying in town. Everything, and I mean everything, was in walking distance. Shops, restaurants, coffee and cafe's, the beach... all steps away. The house provides all the norms for a house stay, including beach chairs and boogie boards for the water. While the bay seemed to have 'no swimming' signs up that I think were related to topical rip tides here and there, and a lot of surfers and surfer dominated areas, still that every day we found areas within steps that had swimmers, and two lifeguard towers staffed. We had a great time. Small note also that while the TV had many channels listed, most did not work when trying to view them - would just get a black screen, or 'not subscribed'. We weren't indoors often though.

Best location

Spacious house with fenced yard in the best location between the beach and the village. We could walk everywhere easily. The property management was very responsive and helpfull. We loved our stay.

Great location for North Shore adventures

This is a great house for enjoying all that the North Shore has to offer. We found the location to be perfect for going to the Hanalei Bay beach just steps away and also for checking out town. So nice to be able to leave the car behind when we wanted to and to also be able to explore the relatively quiet North Shore beaches and other attractions like Limahuli Gardens. House is well appointed with everything we needed to make meals there when we wanted. Bed was comfortable and indoor and outdoor showers were great. Towels and beach chairs and boogie boards were more than enough for our needs. Nice to have w/d too. Overall a great house.

Wonderful Vacation

We had a great stay at the Pauole House. The location was amazing. The house was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 young children ages 2 and 5 and my parents. The kids loved their room (sun room). The house was well stocked for our needs. We loved the ease of the outdoor shower after going to the beach. We will definitely consider staying here again if we return to Kauai.

Perfect vacation home for a family

I'm not sure what we were expecting, but this place turned out to be absolutely perfect - well equipped, superbly located and such a large garden! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. It's moments from the beach (access is just across the road) and a short walk into Hanalei with its restaurants and shops. We'd certainly return here on a future visit to the North Shore.
