Great location
This is our second time staying in the Lux nest. We love the location to Warren Dunes, the multiple bedrooms, and all the updates. The window ac units in the bedroom were plenty to keep the whole house cool and comfortable during a very hot Labor Day weekend. Patricia is quick to respond and was incredibly helpful when we had questions about a few things. We will definitely be back for a third time!

Excellent location for enjoying the SW Michigan coast
We stayed for 4 days in August and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the house after fun-filled days at Warren Dunes and exploring the area. The Lux Nest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, even beach chairs! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub every evening after hiking and hauling all the beach gear our kids think they require. The host is extremely helpful and polite, and there is a binder with great information on both the house and the area. Definitely would recommend it and will try to return!

Best Place We Have stayed in/Near New Buffalo!
We have been going to New Buffalo each summer for over 12 years. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Had all of the amenities. Well stocked kitchen. Our only regret was that our vacation was short and busy, so we did not have enough time to enjoy the extras of the home like the hot tub, grill, and hammocks out back. This place is a must visit - but only if you take care of it! ;-) Because we will be back!

Great vacation
This is the 2nd time renting from Patricia and we'd definitely do it again. The house is perfect for a small family and everything you need to have a great trip and make wonderful memories. Patricia went way beyond what she had to to make sure our stay was relaxing.

Great location!
Lux nest is a cute house conveniently located right off of Red Arrow Highway. It's a quiet neighborhood close to a park with a playground. It's very close to Warren Dunes, The Beach Bucket ice cream, and Captain Mike's Fun Park, which are some of our favorite places in the area. The house was comfortable and cozy. My kids liked playing with the games and toys. The kitchen had everything we need to cook and grill. The owner was very easy to communicate with and checked on us during our stay.

Fabulous Vacation Spot
We originally picked this house based on the name (we have a pup named Lux) but quickly fell in love with all it had to offer. The location is amazing. You are minutes away from multiple towns and beaches, not to mention delicious food and ice cream. Gather and Cafe Gulistan's are now a must for our family. We took advantage of the board games and hot tub. The breezeway housed our nightly dance parties. The basement provided a great space for the kids to nap. Patricia was very nice and made us feel taken care of. The space was clean and quiet. We even got to see deer and pheasants on our walk home from dinner. Thank you for sharing your home! Well-stocked home, great communication and service
The Lux Nest was a great spot for a getaway for our family of 4! The house is very well stocked with everything you need for cooking, the beds were comfy (window AC units in the bedrooms was a nice helpful addition), and there were plenty of beach chairs and a couple boogie boards available for our visits to the lake. Patricia was quick to answer any questions and provided lots of helpful info before we arrived!

Return guests!
We stayed at Patricia’s property a couple years ago, and loved it so much we came back! My best friend and I came with our kiddos. The proximity of the house to all the beaches was wonderful! We made another trip to The Beach Bucket for ice cream (so yummy!). The house had all the conveniences we needed, and when it cooled down in the evenings the hot tub was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Quick stay
We had a fantastic experience. The house was very nice. We had a family of 5 stay there very comfortably. The house was the perfect balance of being close to all the local attractions, but not in the heart of town where a person could be overwhelmed. Our family capped off every night with a stay in the hot tub followed by the board games provided. Thank you for such a relaxing experience. We will be returning.

Perfect location in Southwest Michigan
My family has been traveling to southwest Michigan for over 30 years and have stayed in literally dozens of properties over the years. The Lux Nest was one of the best of all those experiences. Patricia was, by far, the most professional, accommodating, caring host I have dealt with in all those years. The house was perfect - just as described, excellent location, amenities to spare. Everything was perfect upon arrival and Patricia was very helpful throughout our stay.

Perfect Get Away
Excellent property. The home is beautiful and very cozy, two living spaces plus a great backyard with hot tub. Ideal for multiple family vacations. The owners were gracious and extremely responsive and provide many things in the kitchen, spices, coffee etc which was greatly appreciated. The home is about 5-7 minutes to the Warren Dunes. The home is also very close to restaurants, bakeries and many antique shops. New Buffalo is about 10 minutes which is a very cute town with a cool vibe. Will definitely come back and highly recommend this property to anyone contemplating a trip to this area.

Wonderful & Relaxing Getaway
Three of my friends and I stayed at this property for our annual girlfriend summer vacation. Patricia was a delight and a very gracious host. The property was exactly as described and the small touches were extra special. We relaxed and enjoyed the space which was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed the area and visited wineries and breweries and of course the lake! I would highly recommend and plan to visit again soon!

Great Lake getaway!!
Very much enjoyed our stay here! Immaculately clean and well organized! Kids loved the climbing tree, hot tub and selection of games. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Loved the pass to Warren Dunes State Park…where we spent our days at the beach. Highly recommend ice cream at “the Beach Bucket”!

Best of time ever
My husband and I took our daughter and 3 grandkids to Michigan for the first time. The kids had blast exploring the house, neighborhood creek and really enjoy the beach at warren dune state park. We had a fire 3 nights with loads of s’mores! As one of my grandson said “this is the best day ever”. The kids didnt want to leave . I’d say that is a sign of a successful trip!

Wow! A home away from home!
My family (wife and two boys) had such an incredible time at the Lux Nest! Patricia was incredibly responsive and very helpful. The house is beautiful, provides so much entertainment, and feels like a home away from home. It’s a four minute drive to Warren Dunes State Park where you have so much space and so many things to choose from. There are a lot of great family friendly restaurants close by and all kinds adventures to explore. The house provides a great amenity (the hot tub!) to close a busy day. The downstairs allowed for fun movie nights with the kids. Overall, I can’t say enough great things about the Lux Nest or Patricia. We plan to be back and have told all of our family friends about this absolute gem. Thank you for opening your home to us!

A great place to get away and relax and rejuvenate. The hot tub was very relaxing and the location is close to a very nice beach (Cherry Beach). There is a local ice cream place we loved and we loved the Swedish Bakery and Capozios pizza! We look forward to visiting again.

Perfect Getaway
This is in a great location with so much close by. The house was perfect, clean, and quiet. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking in the nearby parks. I will definitely be back. The layout is great for small families and the binder for all the nearby activities is great

A Very Comfy Nest!
The Lux Nest is a very nice, cozy cottage ... it is nicely updated inside and has a nice hot tub on the back deck. Not too far off Lake Michigan and surrounded by some lovely little towns with great restaurants and shopping. The owners are a delight to work with and very responsive. Highly recommended!

Winter Getaway

New Year at the Lux Nest!
We enjoyed this property so much. Beautiful furniture, everything you could need on hand, great layout and plenty of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot in the cold! Great location allowed us to go up to St Joe or down to New Buffalo easily! We will come back next winter!

Wonderful weekend stay, highly recommend!
Lux Nest lived up to the reviews. House is very spacious, great kitchen, every amenity you could think of/forget, and of course the awesome hot tub. Good location right off the main road. Also be little, go to Greenbush Brewery if you want food out, some of the best fried chicken and hot wings we’ve had. Less than a 5 minute drive.
