“Check in was easy. Room has king size bed, which we requested. TV works (Direct TV) and it is easy to peruse channels (which is important to my husband). Room appears old but recently semi-updated. Coffee maker in room with four different k-cups. ”

“Great views. Staff was incredibly friendly and provided amazing customer service. We didn’t around until after 1:00 am. Simply called the office and they checked us in quickly. Also allowed us to checkout a bit late so we could recover from a long night of driving. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast were very good for a continental breakfast. ”

“Beautiful area, very clean rooms, this is our 4th time staying at Howonquet Lodge and would stay again. The Casino has lots of complimentary beverages, would be great to have more options for hotel guests too. Coffee ran out twice in the morning which was unfortunate and only two types of caffeinated tea. ”

“Very clean, well organized and thoughtful for travelers (ice was already waiting for us in the freezer and bottled water in the fridge, everything you would need in the kitchen, fluffy comfy towels, tons of blankets, etc), literally minutes from everything we wanted to see and do in Brookings. You must eat at Fat Irish Pub while you visit!Staying here reminded me of visiting my Grandparents, and I mean that as a high compliment. A simple, clean and well-loved home that I felt at ease in. “The property was very pleasant. Enjoyed the chickens in the yard and quiet neighborhood. Host was outstanding and provided services that she did not need to offer. Would list them but that could her future problems. Check in without access to email is cumbersome. That may be a problem between Vrbo and me.”
