“When we arrived, it was later in the evening. We were excited to be up north and meeting friends, and admittedly we were in a hurry. The breakfast sign-up policy was explained, and unfortunately we forgot to turn in the breakfast form by the 8 p.m. deadline. I texted the host to apologize and explained that my husband and I are not picky eaters at all and would be happy with anything — we just asked if he could surprise us with breakfast at our already scheduled 9 a.m. time. “We loved our visit to Charlevoix!! Steffan is a wonderful host. He shared fun details about Charlevoix, and even gave us tips on hidden gems in the area. Our room had the most comfortable mattress and bedding too! The Charlevoix House is located within easy walking distance to the Main Street with many restaurants and cute boutiques! We will definitely return if we want a visit to a Lake Michigan beach town.”
