Cabina di fronte all'oceano con Deep Water Dock

Nota per il 2019: non inizieremo ad accettare nuove prenotazioni per la prossima estate fino a febbraio, dando alla famiglia e agli affittuari di ritorno (la nostra prima priorità) la possibilità di fare piani.  Si prega di controllare quindi la disponibilità se si sta ancora cercando.

The Cabin Red Point, costruita nel 1980, condivide un privato 19 acri penisola con altre due cabine e un bacino di acque profonde a Seal Cove. Sedici dei acri sono coperti da una servitù di conservazione in perpetuo, ma sono aperti per esplorare dai nostri ospiti. Vista mozzafiato Penobscot Bay dal ponte anteriore, e un accogliente stufa a legna per le serate e le giornate di pioggia (legna fornita). Sentieri boschivi appartati e lunga spiaggia privata con piscina di marea. 30 minuti. a Blue Hill e 90 min. al parco nazionale di Acadia.

Primo piano camera da letto con letto matrimoniale, seconda camera da letto con due letti singoli (letti a castello) e camera da letto soppalco con letto matrimoniale. 1 bagno completo. Cucina completa con piccola sala da pranzo in comune con soggiorno e stufa a legna. Anche se 6 posti letto, soggiorno / sala da pranzo è piccola, e ha raccomandato di occupazione è 2-4. Cuscini e coperte forniti; inquilini responsabili di portare lenzuola e asciugamani.

Il pozzo sulla struttura serve 3 case, e non ha mai funzionare a secco; tuttavia, si ricarica lentamente. Chiediamo a tutti gli ospiti a praticare una buona conservazione dell'acqua (docce brevi!), E ciò è particolarmente importante per i gruppi più grandi.

La nostra politica generale sugli animali domestici è che ti chiediamo di essere pienamente responsabile per eventuali danni o costi extra di pulizia, assicurati che siano puliti e protetti da zecche, monitorarli attentamente per eventuali pulci o zecche che possono essere introdotte in casa e portare getta per i mobili se a loro piace arrampicarsi - copriletti, coperte e cuscini devono essere tenuti puliti per i futuri ospiti in quanto non abbiamo lavanderia disponibile. Eventuali deiezioni attorno alle case o ai percorsi devono essere smaltiti correttamente. Inoltre, poiché il fascino del nostro posto è il suo ambiente naturale, non vorremmo cani inclini ad abbaiare eccessivamente o che inseguono selvaggiamente la fauna selvatica.

Such an amazing place that we have rented numerous times over the years. Remote, beautiful, with two beaches for swimming and relaxing on, as well as launching a paddleboard or kayak. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We had an amazing time on the property. There is no shortage of places to explore & extraordinary sights to see! The ocean nearly surrounds the property & there are eagles, osprey, seals, and more!! By far the best place we’ve ever visited. The cabin has everything you need with a stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, warm shower with great water pressure, fire place, and a perfect porch. Close to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Tinder Hearth restaurant for dinners, Bagaduce for lobster roll lunch, antique shops - all of these things are with in an hour or two from the cabin. No shortage of things to explore.

Wonderful view and private beach with cabin attached

The very basic, stripped-down cabin was 200 ft from another cottage, so while the view from the front deck was fabulous and unobstructed the rental was within sight of another property, not as isolated as we had expected from the description. I understand that summer camps should have an “aged” charm, but a few amenities such as sheets for our two-week stay, a mop, a working flashlight, a bar of soap for the shower at this quite-expensive rental would have been most appreciated, as would comfortable mattresses and pillows not yellow with age. The private beach, a five-minute walk from the cottage, was superb.

Fabulous location. Kayaked with Bald Eagles and Osprey overhead!

Very comfy for our small family. The house had everything we needed to cook and the beds were comfy. Good working wood stove and effective electric heater. The beach was great. A wonderful 2 weeks.

Magical coast

This is a really beautiful part of the world. Sunny days are splendid, foggy days are magical as the sea & sky become one. There's so much to explore - nearby islands & coves by water, and moss covered trails through the hills full of surprises. Great bird-watching, and seals too! The cabin is compact, but just perfect for our family of 4. The view from the living room/porch is fantastic, and the wood stove is so cozy on chilly nights. Great shower, too. Kitchen has everything you need, and you can buy lobster fresh off the boat just down the road. Relaxing, beautiful, calm - a perfect change from city life. I'd heartily recommend to all.

The Whole Pie

There are 6 pieces to a pie. Our vacation in Brooksville Maine was the Whole Pie. Peaceful and relaxing, incredible views, tons of wildlife, fine dining, kayaking and fishing and outstanding seafood. Will be back next year for a longer stay!

Picturesque Maine Property

I wanted to be nestled in the woods along the craggy Maine shoreline with zero distractions.This property gave my family all of that and more. The kids loved exploring the trails, fishing, rock skipping, shelling and bird/boat watching. My husband I could sit on the porch 24/7, but spent each day exploring a different nook and cranny of Maine from Rockland to Acadia. This is the first vacation in forever that time slowed down and we could relax!

Gorgeous views!!

Lovely rustic cabin perched over a harbor with stunning views. Great birdwatching (if that’s your jam). Very quiet and at least 30 minutes from any stores which was fine by us! If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat on the rocky coast, this is a wonderful spot!

Beautiful, Quiet and Cozy

The cabin's setting is quintessential Maine coast. The views from the deck are framed by weather-worn pine trees, and the trails to the beach are carpeted in lush moss and mushrooms. We had nightly shows from the seals, bald eagles, and loons. It is truly beautiful. Everything in the cabin was clean, in good working order, and the kitchen was well equipped. The host was communicative and helpful. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this is the place. There are no frills, but that is part of what makes it fun!

Beauty and Wonder

This is a fantastic place to unplug, unwind and get inspired. Wonderful swimming, miles to explore on land and water while walking trails and paddle boarding, beautiful views from many sit spots in and around the cabin, and excellent internet for when you need to explore the World Wide Web. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is cook ready, and the wood stove is very easy to use to warm up on rainy or chilly days.

One of a kind!

We couldn’t have loved the cabin more! It was exactly what we were wanting on our two-week visit to the area. While being very private with paths through the woods and down to a beach, it was still very accessible to many of the quaint restaurants and sights nearby. The wood stove was perfect for keeping the cabin warm and cozy on cool days.

Overwhelmed by Beauty

My wife and I stayed three weeks at Red Point. From the moment we saw the cabin and stood on the front porch, we were mesmerized by the beauty, silence, and serenity of the expansive view of the bay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well stocked, including adequate split firewood for the wood stove. We can't wait to return next year.

This is one of our favorite places on earth. The property is wooded and mossy, providing privacy while offering spectacular water views and wildlife. The cabin is comfortable and open. The hosts make sure you have everything you need in order to explore and relax.

Heaven on earth

A quiet getaway for nature lovers. Off, off the beaten path. Paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, or just sitting for a spell with a great book. Excellent bakery nearby (breads, pastries, pizza). Weekly farmstands.

Getting Away From It All

This house is perfect for getting away from everyday life. The quiet, private location was great. We spent a lot of time watching the seals hunt out front. A comfier chair or newer cushions for reading would be great, but the cabin had everything we needed for the week.
