"This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth."

"A wonderful stay in a fabulous apartment. It was wonderfully clean, beautifully furnished and has a fabulous view of the river. The apartment was warm, quiet and generously kitted out with the essentials. The beds were also extremely comfortable. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay."

"Nice location, very clean, great hot shower, adequately equipped kitchen and good heating. Lounge furniture a little sparse and uncomfortable. The only issue was the bed. While clean and in good condition, but the mattress far too soft for us. Didn’t sleep at all well, woke with back ache."
