Hotel vicino a Harishchandra Ghat - Varanasi

“I recently stayed here, and it was honestly such a lovely experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Dashashwamedh Ghat, which made everything so convenient. The place is very clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, especially considering the nominal price. What truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of Ajit Yadav, who took care of everything and made us feel completely at home. We genuinely loved staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting...

“Hotel di livello modesto, poco curato e maltenuto. Personale molto gentile.

“I am often in Varanasi for work, and always stay at te Diamond. It is near both to the center city and riverfront and to the university and yet quickly accessible to the route to the airport and train station. The staff are helpful, from arranging cars for longer road trips to providing all the necessities of a hotel stay. The rooms are quite large, and the bathrooms have recently been remodeled, a further plus. The restaurant is good.”

“The room was on ground level and the window was too close to garbage to leave open.”

“I went on a solo trip to Banaras and booked my stay at Gangotri. The hospitality truly surprised me. The owner and staff are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I was really impressed with the facilities. The room was clean and hygiene was well maintained, which made me feel comfortable and safe as a solo traveler. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Banaras — it’s totally worth it!”

“Great staff! There was always someone at the reception. Quick and professional help with any issues and excellent guidance based on local knowledge. I was there during Holi and it was extremely helpful to have that guidance. English was not an issue either, as I know it sometimes can be. Communication was completely trouble‑free. Always helpful and very service‑minded.”

“Average hotel. Accessibility is poor but not impossible. Lots of steps. Tv had not many channels. Wifi is limited. Service was ok”

“I will divide my review into Pros and Cons: Pros: 1. The guesthouse rooftop has good view of the ghat. The roof top restaurant also has good ambience and view. 2. The food at the rooftop restaurant is made fresh and is good. 3. The guesthouse is right on the ghat so easy access if you want to take a dip in the Ganga. Cons: 1. The stairs to rooms are extremly steep and not well designed. If you have elderly people in your family or with knee problems then you will have a lot of problems...
