Loved our stay. We celebrated my niece's wedding on the island so it was nice to have all of my immediate family staying together. Enough room for everyone and the pool table, dart board and ping pong was great for entertainment during the down times. Rooms were spacious and welcoming. Thank you for letting us stay here!

Great house, great location, great price. Definitely worth it, but a few negatives: low on supplies like toilet paper and paper towels (though they'll reimburse if you buy them); nice touches like fairy lights on balcony and in yard all dead, bulbs burnt out; numerous cockroaches on ground flour around pool and ping-pong tables and occasionally upstairs. We had a great time anyway, but know the place is not pristine.

The host was very responsive during our entire stay. The house was perfect for our family Christmas. Plenty of room for everyone and the neighborhood was great for walking. Thankful this is a pet friendly rental!

This is a nice house conveniently located near the bridge and seaside grill. The house had a lot of cockroaches, the downstairs bedroom’s a/c did not work well, most of the game room items were damaged and not well kept. The landscaping was overgrown and there is an active bee hive living under the siding of the house.

We stayed for a wood bat tournament. We needed the space because so many were traveling with us. It was clean and comfortable and the neighbors were wonderful!

Family get-away

Nice home in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great communication with owner. Home had everything needed for a nice family vacation. Pool table, ping-pong and darts in the game room saved the day on a wet and windy trip.

New Year's on Harker's Island

Our extended family of 9 enjoyed being in the house and appreciated all of the space. There were a couple of things that needed to be addressed, but the owner communicated with us immediately & these were taken care of.With some cosmetic updates this property would be a 5.

Great place for a long weekend!

My family and I had a great time staying here! There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and we loved the layout of the house. Nice balconies for relaxing and we had fun with the ping pong table in the garage. We went exploring around the island, fishing, visited Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and spent one day in Morehead City fishing and sailing off to Sand Dollar Island. We bought seafood from a local place and cooked a feast on one of our nights. A perfect getaway weekend that we would like to make a yearly tradition!

Great Experience

The house was beautiful and well supplied. There was plenty of space for my large crew (4 adults and 9 kids) and there was plenty of extra floor space downstairs for air mattresses if needed. The house was walking distance to the pool and was a couple minute drive to a small pier for fishing (we caught multiple pigfish, croaker, and 2 eels). The host was very quick to respond to emails during our stay. I would love to cone and stay again sometime.

Saltwater and Sunsets

Greeted with a bottle of wine and salt water air! What a way to start the week. Very spacious home with walking distance access to the beach access, marina or pool. Lots of options to get your feet wet! Convenient location on the island with many welcoming neighbors!

The house was gorgeous and spacious. The bedroom in the garage was a little hot, but overall fantastic stay. 7 adults and 4 kids..there was room for all. We will be coming back when we go back with the family again! Close by a few stores. Not far from the ferry service. Location was fantastic. Neighborhood was nice and quiet, we felt safe. Price was great also. Definitely recommend.
